A perfect living experience in The Kell

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I want to give 5 stars to The Kell for its location. The Kell is fantastic for professionals to live in, minutes walk to ASDA & LIDL, very quite to avoid noise interruption. Also minutes walk to GP. Parking is convinient inside the building with both underground and on-street. 5 minutes drive to Gillingham Station. The bin collections is in-time to avoid bad smell.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The things I can comment based on my experience is: we always got in-time maintainance when we reported. The reply from landlord is very good. I also want to give 5 stars to the staff in reception, Cameron and Christina.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

one thing - depend on whether you want a balcony or not. Some of the flats have balcony and some haven't. If you prefer one, you can communciate with them to double check whether yours will have. And this apartment is very quite considering its location, perfect for professionals to be self-relax in home. But I'm not sure whether it fits others' taste.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my local area offers a wonderful blend of benefits. The community is vibrant and welcoming, with friendly neighbors and plenty of local events. There are many parks and recreational facilities, perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The local schools are highly rated, providing a great education for children. On the downside, the cost of living can be on the higher side, and traffic during rush hours may be frustrating. However, the positives almost always outweigh these minor inconveniences, making it a lovely place to call home.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has generally been responsive to issues I’ve raised. When I reported maintenance problems. they're promptly scheduled repairs. The maintenance team was professional and efficient, ensuring everything was addressed quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Only the car park we have to pay , i wished it was free with the rent.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area has its perks. In terms of shopping, we have both Asda and Lidl nearby, which are within walking distance, making grocery shopping easy and convenient. For any essentials that run out, there’s a Londis located just below the building, which is super handy. The neighborhood is quiet and offers a beautiful view, perfect for relaxing walks. The residents here are friendly and always willing to help, adding to the community feel. Parking is paid, which I appreciate, as it ensures allocated spaces for residents. Bin collections are regular, and thankfully, we haven’t experienced any antisocial behavior, which is a relief, especially with a newborn. Overall, it’s a safe, family-friendly area that’s great for a peaceful lifestyle.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We had our bathroom door jammed, they came and fixed it very quick! Very simple process.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish we had a better insight in transport links, as it can be costly to take public transport into London/out of London, so we have limited friends and family coming to visit.

Leaf Living at Peters Village, ME1

Sept 2024

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s lovely here a lovely community with nice walks and space. There’s a coop in the village and a coffee shop on the way. Bin collections have been easy, no traffic noise where we are along the river. Overall a quiet village with friendly people. Supermarket and other shops are within easy reach

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Day time property management/ maintenance have been a bit slow in responding and attending and the first visit was quick and the issue was not resolved which then lead to the emergency team having to attend. The whole emergency team were great, communicating at every stage and resolving the issue. Thank you

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing to add here we are discovering more and more about the area and all good so far
