They don’t respond it’s always left to the residents

Riverside update - 4 years on

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is improving as the development continues to progress. The external spaces are now taking shape with the park and the gym equipment - overlooking the river with great views. The area is still under huge construction operations too and is good to see the progress take shape for the future.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Well - only an insurance issue for storm damage to resolve.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Plans for future facilities and timescales being shared - what will happen to the marketing suite for instance ? A leisure location perhaps or not.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Since moving in back in 2019 we have noticed a lot of anti social behaviour, a lot of stealing from the local shops due to no cctv and the transport links are amazing

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

From what I have heard that problems have seem to be very slow or non existent to be sorted, there seems to be non stop problem.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How thin the walls and floors are can hear every noise from all directions

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Rochester is filled with bustling streets with cute little unique shops, a wide choice of independent restaurants as well as the classic coffee shops. Parking is easy, never a problem and if you don’t have a car then Rochester station is a minute walk away.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Don’t be afraid to ask any questions when you’re unsure.

What is the best feature of your home:

The fittings in the kitchen and bathrooms (on suite as well as family bathroom)

Great choice, commutable to London, close to Rochester town center

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s one of the best places to move to if you travel to London for work. It’s got a local grocery shop and Costa within the development. Just a 5 min walk from Rochester town center. You won’t get many other new developments SO close to the already existing historical center. Community of residents is awesome. We know people who’ve had issues with their homes but we were lucky and there isn’t much wrong and when there is, management tried to change it. Overall we are extremely happy with our choice. The amazing amount of parks and beach not so far away is definitely a bonus!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The good: We wish we’d known how many parks and nature walks there are within 10-15 min drive! It’s an amazing surprise. The bad: surrounding areas (Chatham and Strood) can be a bit dodgy. The car park they built on the estate is always filled with teenagers being loud. Makes it feel unsafe at times

What is the best feature of your home:

Community feel, quality of houses and supplied amenities, proximity to the station
