Great place to live.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Fantastic area to live in, in terms of being able to park our car and the host of outdoor space available to us, especially with a 4 year old. We have been really happy since we moved here and despite the minor issues we’ve had with damp/mould it has been relatively smooth. Still lacking a convenience store but I believe that is in the plans and will eventually be available.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, all problems have been rectified or in the process of being dealt with accordingly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were fortunate to move into the property we viewed and don’t feel there were any areas that we felt we wish we had known before.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This part i cannot fault, there's plenty of things to do in the local areas and if you dont intend to drive you're in a good place. Otherwise traffic is awful.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

While I can understand that some issues, like traffic and external factors, may be somewhat out of the building manager's control, certain aspects definitely need improvement for the future. The consistent lift problems, overflowing rubbish, and lack of proper ventilation are things that could be better managed. Although the building manager has been responsive, the lack of real solutions is disappointing. The two-month penalty with no break clause is especially frustrating, and while it might be part of the contract, there should be more flexibility and consideration for valid reasons when tenants need to move. Addressing these concerns would go a long way in improving the overall living experience at Vantage Tower.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is the strict two-month penalty with no break clause, which is heavily enforced even when facing valid reasons for wanting to move. This lack of flexibility has been the biggest frustration. I also wish I had known about the constant issues with the lifts, the overflowing rubbish system, and the poor ventilation in the apartments, which makes living conditions uncomfortable during hot weather. These factors significantly affect the quality of life, and knowing this beforehand would have influenced my decision.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The bin area is not well kept. Area is quiet but can get occasional noise from partygoers at the harbour. Parking is good but too many trees so car often gets made dirty by birds.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not applicable to me as not had needed or had issues yet.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Ask about bins and how often they come to collect. Also have a look inside.

Great location

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location, tesco and coop within 5 minute walking distance for any quick shopping. A good range of restaurants also within walking distance. Property is a stone's throw from the marina and is lovely to walk around the area which is generally quiet and pleasant. Parking is on residential private car park where you have to display a permit. The spaces can get taken quite quickly leaving you with no choice but to park under the trees... the birds quickly make your car very dirty! Communal bin area is very dirty and smells, also sometimes get overfilled with waste and bags are left on the floor, then council refuse to collect rubbish and it piles higher and higher. The courtyard area is well maintained and quite nice to sit in, sometimes kids are playing there.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I haven't raised any issues with building management.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking availability can be limited in evenings and nights if coming home late. If you forget to display your permit you will get fined, so it's better to stick the permit onto the windscreen of your car.
