Great development with historic buildings and green surroundings

Lovely modern development situated amongst a mix of repurposed character buildings and new builds in keeping with these. I love the mature trees that have been preserved and the new landscaping too. The block itself is light, airy and very pleasant. I always feel safe coming home here. Very friendly, helpful and efficient property management services.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely quiet street with easy access to green spaces like the Wellesley Woodlands, polo fields and canal. Choice of local supermarkets and takeaways. Tend to go into Farnham or Guildford for restaurants and bars. Great transport links.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been prompt and efficient in organising repairs.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The flats do feel very warm, which is economical in winter, but you need a fan in summer!

Poor service and poor landlord and site.

The design is poor with little to no storage options, the apartments are boiling hot all year round and the hvac system does nothing to help, forced entry by landlord as well and they claim to care about their tenants. Property management is almost non existent

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is nothing in Aldershot anymore but expect high premium rents to go with it which is unacceptable.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They shifted it off to an external company and they forced entry on many occasions.

Really lovely buildings, inside and out. We have a fantastic view from our balcony can see the planes go up and land from farnborough air port. The Streets are kept clean, greenery is always tidy. Quiet area. Pet friendly, nice to see lots of dog walkers about.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very convenient location, close to food shops, train station, but out of the way from all the town noise

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Speedy responses, always helpful and great customer service

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If there was anything wrong i would say the bugs, mainly flies come straight in from the bin shed below our windows, this is frustrating but probably only due to the location of this flat and the side of the building that we are on. So I would mention that but then again, the view is better this side.

Overall a lovely place to say, couldn’t recommend it enough. All neighbours are welcoming and will help anyone out. Building is always well maintained and clean. Any issues get dealt with immediately and the Grainger staff are always about to help. The apartments are well laid out and very spacious, such an open yet homely feel

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is approx 15 min walk from the local shops and restaurants, perfect distance to walk down but also miss the noise. The local shops are quite prone to anti social activities so we could possibly do with a small local shop on the development Clean and well looked after property Bins could be emptied more frequently but this is a council issue not Grainger.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

My toilet flush was broken, raised this and someone came out to fix the next day

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Idea on the traffic works taking place at the top of development. These have been going on for some time and occasional road closures

Serene accommodation

On top, the highest point in Aldershot, the development is opposite the Aldershot centre for health, surrounded by trees and well planted shrubs/trees. This is a secluded area and very low level of traffic as only local vehicles to surrounding homes. If you like peace and quiet then this area is perfect. I moved here nearly 5 years ago and have been very comfortable and relaxed with all breakdowns/repairs as they have been carried out almost immediately, easy access to management and great communication. The property is well insulated and fixtures and fittings are great, I am lucky to have an en-suite and enjoy the walk in shower. There is a great ambiance to the development which feels very calming and serene, I do not feel I have to move again.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The development is next to the Aldershot centre for healt, it is a short walk downhill to the town centre, a new shopping centre is being built and we have a great theatre 2 in fact. There are 2 remembrance gardens that are both beautifully kept, a high presence of Aldershot being the home of the British Army where some buildings have been kept and converted to homes. The train station serves most destinations and London only 30min and the bus station opposite the train station. Parking is excellent, I have 2 spaces and there is adequate visitor parking. Bon collection is regular and the management keep the area good. In the 5 years I have been here, I have only experienced one incident that involved a domestic dispute, otherwise it is wonderful.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I am really happy with the maintenance department, they answer promptly and I receive a call stating when the repair or service will be carried out. I have never waited long in fact in a week our washing machine was replaced.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I live on the ground floor, but I have experienced the top level and the views are breathtaking, there is a lift and door access is good but like everything in life the lift may breakdown, having said that I can only remember 2 occasions when this has happened in nearly 5 years.
