Ok but not enough space

I face the sun most of the day which means its sunny and bright in my place. At first, the customer service were helpful but now that they have built houses over the other side they have not responded or looked into the communal area concerns I have contacted them about. Windows still haven't been cleaned even though I have been told these will be done soon. Not sure what we are paying for in this instance-Id rather just do it myself. Radiators are positioned in strange places which means that there are limitations to where you can put furniture etc.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lots of open spaces (unless they build more housing!) A few bars and shops, god transport links to Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells and London Not very good parking-meant to be for visitors but because everyone has two cars and a small driveway (plus garage that you can't fit modern cars into) everyone parks in the visitor bays which means when people visit they have to park elsewhere. Bin collection once a week. No traffic noise as I am in the far end of the development.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

how little parking there would be for visitors and how close together the houses would be.

What is the best feature of your home:

I am south facing so there is sunlight all day There is also a secure bike shed.

Pleased with the property overall, gardens aren't the best design and have bad drainage

Pleased with the property overall, gardens aren't the best design and have bad drainage. The development itself is nice we like our neighbours and are building a good local community. We look forward to our daughter growing up here

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We have two train stations within walking distance as well as a lidl and home bargains.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Would have been good to know about the community Facebook group before moving in.

What is the best feature of your home:

The overall layout of our house is great, living room is a good size for the house.

Great area, quiet estate, with a great modern family house. Shame about the garden.

I cannot fault the house or the development. The process of buying and the house design and quality are great. Sadly the only thing to let down the whole thing is the garden. We have not been happy with the finish and have take it into our own hands to rectify issues as they have not been resolved. Speaking with other owners it sounds to be an issue with the landscapers and the materials that were used as many others are having work done to resolve garden issues. I would happily buy here without second thought but would just have in mind I may need to finish the garden.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is lovely close shops and children's activities. Not too busy and a friendly small town. With 2 train stations near its easy to get places. And bigger towns are only a short drive away.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the garden was going to need to be finished due to the lawn being poorly done.

What is the best feature of your home:

Nicely designed layout and family friendly housing estate design.

Very nice development and any issues taken care of quickly

The development is nice and family friendly with various green areas and close to the local town. The houses are nice and not too close together. However it can be difficult to park when not on your drive. Also you can have issues with your house for the first 18 months e.g. doors, taps but these are taken care of well by Bellway when you report an issue.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is nice and close to countryside. There are a few shops and supermarkets and pubs close by. Not many restaurants but good takeaways. Our street is nice just hard to park if you have more cars then your drive can handle.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking can be a challenge and maintenance costs for development is high for a house.

What is the best feature of your home:

Space and design of the house and it feels fresh and vibrant.

A pleasant, quiet, well designed development

Development is well thought out and constructed. Does not feel like everyone is crammed in. Appears clean and well looked after by occupants. Drains seem to be a recurring problem for a few people but this seems common in new builds/sewage systems. Bin storage is more than big enough. Management of the grounds has gotten much better. Finally after a year the road is being tarmacked which is long overdue.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are plenty of shops and pubs in the area. Two train stations, one to London and one a shuttle station. Large Lidl and Waitrose nearby and neighbouring towns have other supermarkets. Not great for takeaway deliveries etc. as just out of a lot of catchment areas. Bin collections weekly. No thru traffic so no noise from that. Have never experienced any ASB.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Was unable to see property as bought from plan but more than happy with how it turned out.

What is the best feature of your home:

Seems to be built to a high quality. Very standard but very clean and well put together.
