In-regards to the development, it is continuously evolving and increasingly getting larger in size. A major down fall to this is that there hasn't yet been any further investment into any more doctor surgeries, dentists and schools. The quality of the management on site has been questionable at times. This includes maintaining the garden spaces around the area, cleaning out of drains when the builders have vacated, but in-regards to the design aspect, this is defiantly of an average to good standard.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The range and quality of establishments for all your shopping needs, vary from a well maintained retail park to a larger shopping centre in the midst of solihull. A selection of restaurants & bars are available for all those late night ventures and for those keepsake days out with the family, there are a large number of open spaces available for all to enjoy. The convenience and availability of transport links Shirley to all surrounding areas, these include Solihull, Birmingham, Redditch and even Stratford Upon Avon. For the street that we have chosen to live on, it is a perfect starter for any family wanting to bring their family up on. There is minimal disturbance except for the odd occasion when people decide to celebrate good times. There is ample parking if for say you keep your car ownership to a minimal, and in-regards to bin collections, these have always been un-disturbed even throughout any local strikes. All-in-all an above average standard site.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The worst point and defiantly something that should be stressed upon when buying on a new build, is the probability of not being able to gain access to any other internet provider, except the one endorsed by the developer at an excessive monthly cost.

What is the best feature of your home:

Our best feature for this home would have to be the overall financial saving on our annual energy bill.

The design is poor, recent mouse infestation around the area, parking is awful, maintenance of the building I.e cleans and tidy but repairs can often be non existent. A leisure centre in the are would be nice, more facilities nearby, another doctors.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good quiet most of the time peaceful vibes not many shops nearby co-op is the convenient store, much better now there is a train station & Uber boat. Very minimal visitor parking or residential now even worse with the new plans, no value for money in terms of rental or buying prices.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How poor the living conditions were L&q as a landlord?

What is the best feature of your home:

Space of the balcony Neighbours Schools Transport links

It is regularly cleaned. It was painted, bins are collected weekly. The property is expected for the obligatory annual checks, but when something broke, it takes long time to be fix it. Design is good and facilities are good. The are is quite remote, but the transport is good.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Although it is well-developed, you could spot that some groups started to abuse it, one may smell the strange smoke in the air and find near the playgroung a lot of metal balloons.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It is a remote area and there is an industrial area in vicinity.

What is the best feature of your home:

The space of the appartment, the palce is energy efficient, but the equipment starts giving up.

the development is now getting over run with rubbish, no one uses the envacs and all neighbours will continually moan about this. the service charge is estimated and they will make it higher each year then give a refund which makes no sense. Personally its not worth the stress levels

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

there is one coop that seems to get robbed weekly and that is it! it will then close once robbed so we need more shops

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i knew the lack of quality the flats have everything breaks and they will not respond to complaint emails

What is the best feature of your home:

The location is good to get in to London as youve the station bus and uber boat.
