Very poor quality housing by. Bellway.

Very poor quality housing by. Bellway. Homesn self certification, which should not be allowed. Site great . Quality of house very poor because sub contractors are rushed and not given realistic timescales to do a proper job. The site management team are not good enough, as don’t inspect things properly. Instead rely on subcontractors really

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is fine and the houses in principal, but the quality of the work is very poor and not checked by the site management staff. I would not buy a house from Bellway again.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The poor quality of the workmanship. If I known before would not have bought the house.

What is the best feature of your home:

The location and appearance of the house. Carpet quality very poor though.

he property is in a good location and the neighbors seem friendly

Overall the property is in a good location and the neighbors seem friendly, like most new buildings there are cracks showing and screws showing from where it has not been plastered but just painted!, the plot is nicely designed as a small estate but not to much bigger as it backs on a main road.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is good! The only problem is parking as there doesn’t seem to be enough for everyone as most people have 2 cars or more and you are only allocated 1 space and a visitor space but usually that space is always taken by another car for a long period of time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking situation is not good and knowing about having to get carpet down and the expense of it.

What is the best feature of your home:

One of the good things about the house is the sizing

I am really happy with my property

Overall I am really happy with my property. I do hope that there will be access to the main road once the development has been completed becasue right now I have to go round the back roads to get to the development. The layout of my flat is great and the balcony is brilliant.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Fantastic location with easy aaccess to city centre as well as access to all the main food shops. Only downside right now is the fact that the new builds are not registered on map services making it hard to give diretions.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think I was made aware of everything before moving into the property.

What is the best feature of your home:

The balcony is stunning. Being able to step outside whilst being on the top floor is great!

Excellent. Ample parking, secluded yet central location, private garden, easy access to city centre and ring roads, spacious homes with generous bedrooms and living spaces, brilliant selection of flooring and finishes, high specification, energy efficient. Perfect first home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good: Excellent location, short walk to city centre, great choice of bars, restaurants and shops. Good transport links to London and Portsmouth/Southampton. Bad: small garden

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Time taken to walk to town centre - only 10 minutes!

What is the best feature of your home:

Spacious and flexible living spaces (including lounge/dining area and bedrooms)

Great location and development

We have a 2 bed ground floor flat and inside it's a great design with a semi open plan living and dining room. We have an ensuite in the main bedroom and a family bathroom too. The balcony and driveway are also great additions. I'm not so keen on the outter design of the flat with the side wall being yellow instead brick but that's a personal opinion.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is great, bus stop is on the road and it's a 25 minute walk to the train station. There is also uber in this area so you can get cheap transport easily. There's plenty of grocery stores in the area and upmarket bars and restaurants in town. The parking is slightly limited but there are visitors spots around.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The solicitors fees were more than expected! I would put aside some extra money for this onto of what is quoted just incase.

What is the best feature of your home:

The semi open plan living room and kitchen. It's a great space and allows communication between the 2 rooms without getting too much noise from either room.
