The development is quiet, well designed and well finished. Snagging issues were dealt with efficiently and there is good customer care assistance. It is really too early to comment on building management but the care of the surrounding landscape is carefully and well managed. Cleaning appears good although there are still some signs of the builders remaining. There are no post room facilities and post and parcels are often left unguarded in the general hall area. Parking facilities for residents are good but there is no provision for visitors which means they have to walk from nearby car parks which are also expensive for other than short stay. Rubbish storage does not seem to be separated into recycling and non-recycling.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Sevenoaks has a wide selection of shops and restaurants all within 5 minutes walk of the development. Knole house and park provides excellent open space for walking etc. just 10 minutes walk from the development. The mainline railway station is 10 minutes walk away and has excellent links and rapid service to London. The M25 Junction 5 is just 15 minutes away by car. The only disadvantages are the hilly terrain, busy traffic and expensive parking in the centre of Sevenoaks and at the station

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Limited issues have been dealt with efficiently and promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is little interaction between residents. We were told there would be visitor parking by the sales team but this was untrue. Lack of a concierge may be a disadvantage. Management charges are quite high.

- Berkeley customer management team is absolutely fantastic! Very responsive and helpful. - Great design and facilities - Good size flats - Good quality materials - Large parking - Nice private garden. Although the building is located near busy London Road, the garden side is very quiet.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The development is very close to the town center and to the station. The walk to the station is , however, via a narrow pavement near busy road with almost no crossings. Many nice shops and restaurants nearby. Great weekend market. Large Waitrose and M&S just minutes away. Food delivery is available but time slots are limited (Deliveroo), so it may be hard to get a lunch during a weekday.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There were a few minor issues with the property, but the management team was very responsive and addressed all of them.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There are only a couple of parking slots, which have electric charger. I wish there were more, as I had to opt out of a hybrid car option because of that.

The sales team were superb, friendly and patient. We viewed a number of properties a few times before deciding to buy the current property we live in. The sales process team was top-rated and always helpful. They smoothened things and enabled the purchase to take place in less than one month from payment of deposit. We got a surprise on the completion as when we entered our property we were welcomed by a big red ribbon bow hung on the door, and a beautiful and fresh bouquet and a Harrod hamper were placed on the table to welcome us to our new home. The after sales team was professional and responsive to our queries and request for assistance. The common areas of the property are always clean and well maintained. The development would be even better if all the refuse collection rooms are located at the same point. Currently, the general waste room and the recycled waste room are at two ends of the development. Also, if there are CCTVs in the common areas, we would feel more safe and secured.

The property is located near a high street. There are shops, supermarkets, restaurants, a leisure centre and other sport facilities without a few minutes' walk. It's also a few minutes' walk to the Sevenoaks train station. So, the property is at a very convenient location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management team is responsive, polite and helpful. The operative who recently fixed some minor issues in the property was polite and diligent.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We purchased a show flat. We literally got everything in the property as displayed. So, we had cooking utensils, TV, wine, food, glasses, seasonings, basically everything you need to live in a property on Day One. We even got some new clothes hung in the wardrobes! We didn't expect all these when we decided to purchase the property with furniture. So, buying a show flat from Berkeley may be a good option.
