Extremely convenient to live right across from train station! Close to local shops therefore safe to walk.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There is always someone at the lobby to answer any questions or concerns.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I knew how loud the trains and tram would be. Especially at night, all doors and windows must be shut to keep all the noises out.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I moved from outside of London and was aware that Croydon had a bit of a 'reputation'. However, my experience so far is that it is lovely. There are lots of restaurants, shops and bars near by and I don't feel unsafe. The area around Ten Degrees is redeveloped and very modern and pleasant. You need to have your wits about you when walking around at night but this is true of anywhere in a city. The location next to East Croydon station is excellent with a 24 hour service in and out of the city in 25 minutes, and there are great tram and bus links right outside Ten Degrees, including night buses.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

A few minor maintenance issues were sorted out very quickly and the process was easy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known that lower floors are actually quieter than higher floors. When the windows are open on a higher floor, there is lots of traffic and train noise. You get used to it and it isn't affecting my enjoyment of the apartment but I do wish it wasn't there.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is just a minute's walk from East Croydon station, making it easy to commute to Central London. Definitely, it is the biggest advantage of the development for me personally. Also, there is a variety of local shops, markets, and health centres to suit all tastes.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

At least one of the receptionist is available at the desk and one can ask literally everything regarding the property, raise a maintenance request, access the amenities, etc. Very good job, many thanks to the personnel! Most of the minor repairs are done pretty much quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Before renting the property, we had a viewing where we were able to ask everything we needed to know about the dwelling. However, I wish I had known in advance that I could use a trolley they offer to carry my belongings into the flat. A random passer-by let me know this when they saw me struggling to carry all of my things manually. Not all developments or letting agencies offer such kind of a service, so it is extremely good they have it but I suggest such thing would be highlighted in welcome emails so everyone is aware.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The good about living in this location is that you have trains that take you straight Into London, the only bad thing is the noise from the College

They have been absolutely fantastic especially Chantel Anderson As she has continuously helped me with numerous problems or situations I have had.

The currently isn’t anything that I wish I knew before moving here.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ten Degrees Croydon is an ideal location opposite the train station, box park and all the key things needed including supermarkets and coffee shops. Bus station and tram all within less that 1minutes walk

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

So quickly. Whenever there’s an issue it’s usually solved within 24hrs or a solution/ plan of action is provided.

How high the standards of the flats are. It’s been incredible that over 1year of living we’ve had barely any faults at all.
