The design of our flat is great, 2 good sized bedrooms and perfectly sized bathrooms. The best part of our flat is the big windows in the lounge with the stunning view. A couple of the radiators aren’t in the best spots but we’ve worked around it. The main downside of the development is how the gate functions. The gate isn’t linked to the intercom system so we have to go outside on the balcony to buzz anyone in and then buzz them back out again - pretty inconvenient.

Love that we are between Hornsey and Haringey as both areas have so much to offer!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They were pretty quick to come to the flat to fix the snags we had raised.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How loud the trains are! We heard a couple when visiting but the windows were shut so we didn’t get the full impact.

We love the development, the property is a great size, there is plenty of communal space and the undercroft parking is a great facility. We love the kitchen, high spec with everything you could need. The balcony is a great size and really usable. There are a few things which could be better: -The balcony door has nothing to hold it open in place so it blows around in the wind. -The bin store is far too small for the number of properties so often overflows and smells horrendous. - The cycle store is fabulous but the entrance is awkward with a bike, an automatic door would be amazing. - The property would benefit from a secure parcel drop point. - The vents are an ABSOLUTE PAIN. They are loud and there is no way of closing them.

The area is fantastic, there is a number of shops and restaurants near by but the high point is being so near to the train station. As there are no other tall buildings blocking the view it really feels open and spacious.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We wish we'd known about the communal boiler as the heating costs are really high even if you don't use any heating because of the standard maintenance charge. It'd be good to be able to switch providers etc

What is the best feature of your home:

The kitchen, the appliances and lay out are fabulous. and the cupboards, so much storage!!

Lovely flats, not perfect quality but for now feels like a good deal

Nice new building with some good designs and style. Spacious bedrooms, spectacular views of london and parks the higher you go. On the downside, the quality of the craftsmanship feels mediocre to some aspects and for example we have just been asked to give access from our bathroom to repair works at the above floor’s bathroom.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Hornsey, Crouch end and Alexandra palace. Lovely areas to be around and enjoy. Hornsey station very convenient for connection to the centre ad well as to Finsbury park for the tube. Not many cafes/restaurants etc in the absolute vicinity but if you walk/ride slightly further there are plenty.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Arranged appointments kindly and promptly for repairs, etc.

What to do with the ‘air wall-holes’. Cold gets through in the winter.

I do not like the fact that issues are dealt with and we are not notified collectively. For example, many directives and information are sent to a select few who then share on Facebook. Great for social media, not so god for bias

That the post was so bad and this is due to the addresses for the whole block not being properly registered by the developer.
