Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great location, close to the city centre, bus station, and De Montfort University. The streets immediately surrounding the building aren't the most walkable as they are quite busy, but this is not an issue since it is in such close proximity to many shops and amenities. Abbey park is a short walk from the building and it's great for walks and runs, and the city centre has everything I needed on my day-to-day, I rarely had to take the bus.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Problems were addressed promptly and triaged and addressed as earliest as possible depending on severity. That said, I only had one or two maintenance issues the entire time I lived there, there was rarely a problem with the facilities.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The staff is incredibly helpful, I was moving in from abroad so I had to buy a number of items just as I moved in and they offered to hold on or put in my flat anything that I shipped there. I only ended up sending a couple of things but I wish I had really taken advantage of this.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The range and quality of local shops, restaurants, bars and open spaces is quite impressive since the location is near highcross city center. Parking availability is good and there is absolute no traffic noise. It’s very peaceful and quiet.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management is amazing, friendly and helpful. Shannon is super nice and has been very helpful since I’m a new resident at the Arches. I absolutely love living at the Arches and it is all because of the friendly management staff, especially Shannon.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I would’ve knew about the construction happening behind the building but it is not much of a nuisance. I really enjoy living at the arches and it’s definitely the best building to be living in.

Extremely close to the city centre and to Highcross which saved me many a time! Not noisy at all with the main road. A little far from shops

Always responded in a timely manner. Was amazing with repairs

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The well kept community area is the best part of this property. Working from home is so much easier with the work pods available. Also, the property is pretty close City center which makes it so much more convenient. The only one aspect I would recommend to work on is the security, in the past there have been one or two incidences when non-residents (also not relatives/friends of residents) have been seen trespassing.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very professional and well accessible property management team. Quick to resolve any queries.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known more about the parking situation as there are limited sports. Although I did get a space eventually but would have preferred if it was available earlier.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Perfect location, city centre location whilst still feeling like a quietish area, a nice balance. Parking no issue now I have a space within the residence. Never had any issues regarding crime/safety in local area.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very efficient resolution on both occasions I’ve had maintenance issue.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I’m from Leicester so nothing personally. For somebody that doesn’t know the area an drives, parking could be a real issue which should be communicated.
