Derbyshire is located in the East Midlands of England, bordering Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. The county has a population of over one million people and covers an area of just over two thousand square kilometres.
Derbyshire is a large county, spanning both the Peak District and the Midlands. The main population centres are in the north of the county around Derby and Chesterfield, and in the south around Matlock and Buxton.
There are also several smaller towns scattered throughout Derbyshire.

Chesterfield – A historic market town in the north of the county, Chesterfield is home to a large outdoor market and an annual Chesterfield Music Festival. It is also known for its Crooked Spire, a church tower that leans sharply to the north.

Derbyshire College – An independent college that is part of the BU Group, Derbyshire College delivers vocational training in many areas including business, catering and hairdressing to name but a few.
University of Derby – The University of Derby has over 20,000 students enrolled across its campuses located across Derbyshire and Staffordshire and offers courses in sports science, childcare studies and dentistry among others.

Brookfield School – An independent school for boys and girls aged from three to sixteen years old, located just outside Chesterfield, the Brookfield School is a co-educational day school.
Derby Grammar School – Derby Grammar was founded in 1994 but its roots go back to the early sixteenth century. The school is an academy for boys aged eleven to eighteen and occupies a twenty-acre site in Littleover near Derby city centre
King’s School – An independent day school for girls aged three to sixteen years old located on Uttoxeter Road in Derby, the King’s School is rated as outstanding by Ofstead.
Currently, there are approximately 700,000 people living in all areas that make up the county with a population density averaging 200 people per square kilometre.
Everything is really accessible and the estate is really quiet! The bins are collected every Wednesday and every home has there own parking which is brilliant!
Lovely homes very well built and nice to look at. Lots of space, storage and character to the house. In love with the three bathrooms and how the house can hold heat so well! With a south facing garden which the garden size is amazing! Can’t imagine anywhere else to start our shared ownership with!

The built in fridge freezer and storage space! We was shocked when the house came with a washing machine!
Nice community, good neighbours. Only a short 10 minute walk into the town centre. Local post office 5 min walk. Not noticed any anti social behaviour yet been in 3 months.
Lovely built house, rooms are good sizes, garden has a slight drainage problem in my opinion, but it sorts itself out eventually. Good parking drive. Great kitchen facilities already in the house, in whole really enjoy living here and would recommend.
Had a walk out in the garden, quite slanted in areas and poo drainage at the top.
New look design, kitchen is beautiful and extremely spacious.
Local shops need Improving as they aren’t very inviting, virtually all the new build residential travel to Chesterfield/ Sheffield for variety ,and choice. Open spaces are none existent but there are plenty if you’re prepared to travel.
There are no transport links on the development, the streets are reasonably quiet except for large builder’s vehicles during the week due to on going construction work , there is no parking for visitors , bin collection is good, there is anti social behaviour in Bolsover.
The design of the house is good, fixtures and fittings are of a good standard but poorly fitted and in general require attention after moving in , as everything appears to have been installed on the hurry up .
In general the brickwork is dirty and untidy due to different crews and mortar being used . Gardens are clay and builders rubble covered by turf which eventually struggles or die .Plants at the front of the properties tend to suffer the same .
Property Management is none existent.

Should have really questioned the site plan scale / spent more time walking around the development and looking at the proximity of houses/ asked questions on specific time scales for completion of roads and footpaths and not accept verbal possibly time scales from sales staff. Ask for a firm completion date of your phase .

This location is one of the best because it’s close to the town , the clubs , nice corner shops that run till 4 am in the morning .
It’s got an amazing Lounge , it’s got good security with locks on each floor as well .
Though the kitchens in the apartments need a window rather than just aircons.
The elevators are good but could be better .
Mail box needs to be more secure in the building
The fact that the kitchen didn’t have windows and doesn’t feel very ventilated
They’ve been swift in attention to issues like fire alarms among other things
