Great development but lacking a nearby convenience store and post office

Review Date Sep 2024

Not too many shops/facilities nearby.
Convenience store badly required within walking distance as Asda is too far to walk

Please review your development:

Design is good, building and property management excellent.
Facilities are largely non-existent
A bit isolated as nothing within walking distance.
Great environment though, peaceful and serene.
Transportation also not too convenient—car necessary.
A small shop and a nearer bus stop would solve a lot of problems!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A slight feeling of isolation which we did not anticipate in the beginning, but which we feel after moving in.
Nearby walking distance shops/restaurants essential

What is the best feature of your home:

Skylights on top floor allowing plenty of natural light while ensuring privacy

Absolutely love the property

Review Date Aug 2024

Local to A57, lots of shops and local transport. Area has lots of green space and nature. Woodlands and fields.

Please review your development:

Absolutely love the property. The only thing I’d change is I wish the fence was double slatted. All the additional extras such as washing machine, fridge, blinds, toilet roll holders were a welcomed extra. I highly recommend Mel. She’s been fantastic with any issues or questions and very approachable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing. Everything was explained enough. I got all questions answered.

What is the best feature of your home:

The space inside. The additional extras included was amazing.

Lace Market Quarter: Stylish and Convenient City Apartments

Verified Resident
Verified Resident
Review Date Jul 2024

Nottingham’s Lace Market offers a special combination of old world charm and contemporary conveniences for living. The neighborhood is well-known for its wide assortment of shops, which include high-street and boutique establishments in addition to an excellent selection of eateries and bars, making it a popular destination for nightlife and dining. But because of its popularity, it may get crowded and expensive.
While there are green areas close by, such as the Nottingham Castle grounds, the surrounding area is mainly urban. Excellent transportation connections allow for simple access to the train station, buses, and trams. Although this makes traveling easier, there may be a lot of traffic and sometimes not enough parking, requiring permits.
The antique building of The Lace Market creates an aesthetically pleasing setting and a strong sense of community. Like any city center, there might be occasional littering and anti-social conduct, and noise levels can be considerable, especially on weekends due to the nightlife. All in all, it’s a bustling area for city dwellers.

Please review your development:

It provides a wonderful blend of contemporary conveniences and old world charm. These flats’ layouts combine modern open-plan designs with huge windows and exposed brick and beams to create light and airy interiors.
Well-maintained amenities are available to residents, such as spotless common areas and safe entry systems.
The efficient and attentive building management makes sure that maintenance issues are promptly resolved and common areas are kept in good condition. Residents feel safe since security is treated seriously and there is surveillance and secure access.
The property management staff is competent and personable; they communicate clearly and react quickly to any questions or issues. They bring tenants up to date on building improvements and neighborhood events while handling maintenance requests and tenancy issues with efficiency.
All things considered, the Lace Market Quarter Apartments provide a chic and cozy living environment in a bustling area of Nottingham.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would suggest that new neighbors get to know with the parking situation as soon as possible because the apartment’s basement parking is still unfinished. Parking spots are sometimes scarce and permit-required, so making advance plans or looking into other ways to get around could save some trouble.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All complaints are quickly addressed by the administration of Lace Market Quarter Apartments, which arranges maintenance to fix problems as soon as possible. Responses are logged and handled within 24 hours.

Close to Celtic point meaning a shop isn’t too far and there are many bars close by, that are waking distance. Very quiet area and really peaceful.

Please review your development:

The design of the house is great as there is a lot of space and the rooms are a lot bigger than normal new builds. The garden is a great size. We love the design of the kitchen and we enjoy socialising in there and cooking together , the open design is great.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Citra have been really speeding getting back to us and providing support when we have a range of questions.

What is the best feature of your home:

We love the garden. It is a great space and we love to sit out there most evening. Really like the double doors leading out.
