We are in love with our new home in River Wey Close, Old Portsmouth Road by Southern Housing. The quality of materials used in the house whether it is electrical appliances, switches, water taps, carpets, and bathroom amenities are all top notch. The surrounding areas is neatly maintained. The builder support while our transition to new home was amazing. For any technical support the team who are in the property with the on going works are just a call away to help. And they keep checking on if we have any inconveniences. This property definitely requires a five star rating

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

1 mile from the town centre located in a calm and serene beautiful Guildford. Perfect green location with great natural view around, walking distance to river wey and the beautiful walk trail. Great availability of car park, and nearby bus stops are advantages. The only thing I miss is a near by convenience store, any quick purchase, we need to go the town centre.

Nothing to mention as such. May be some convenience store around could have been nice.

Site guys have been very helpful but their parking is not considerate. Layout of houses isnt well designed but the site layout is good. Road needs resurfacing and grounds need maintaining. Street light provision is very poor. More screening against the trains is required. Pavements outside the development are narrow and not maintained so walking anywhere is difficult.

Pavements are narrow, no local shops but layout very good. No screening against trains which is bad. Parking provisions so far appears good.

That I was limited to an internet OFNL agreement, this was not mentioned until I had completed which was grossly unfair. I think such agreements need to be banned.

What is the best feature of your home:

The insulation, appliances and bathroom fittings are great
