I reported a few issues in December/January and I am still waiting to get them sorted. When somebody come to check the issue, you never know when it will be repaired. The kitchen stove had some protectors missing, one of the ladies in aftercare kindly sent them to us. The sink, bad installation. A part of a leak, the draining metal side keeps building up a puddle. Both sinks plugs are missing. I made you aware but no response has been received. It looks like the flat was completed in a rush. The shower glass screen is grated, the front door seems to have in a watery place due to the all the marks on it.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is good. Having Morrisons and their so close helps. The Sarsen Stones is a lovely pub, a bit expensive but nice. Parking is a bit an issue when we have visitors. The storage where the bins are is always packed and bins full in a couple of days. We need more bins, and having available one of the other storages having waste separately would help with the accessibility to them. The neighbourhood is ok. We recently had the police and ambulance at 3pm, due to family fight. Some people don't understand that speaking under your balcony at 1 or 2 in the morning is very annoying when you try to sleep and you wake up at 5. It is annoying to see that some people have small swimming pools in the balcony, and they empty them just letting the water fall all the way down passing through the rest of balconies. The trains noise is too much. I know that we have good windows, but I think that they could have been better noise isolating. The freight trains at night are too noisy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How bad the noise from trains is, the lack of sense of living in community of the rest of the neighbors. -My flat is 16 but it does not show below in the drop down menu., it is hard to get any kind of deliveries for this reason -

What is the best feature of your home:

The size of the rooms and the storage in the corridor.

I love my home- the development is very well designed overall and I like the location and proximity to Victoria Park. Building management could improve, our front door has been broken for long and the housing association takes forever to fix issues.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love my new home- love the apartment build, proximity to Victoria Park, the roof top garden, and the design. I am disappointed with the SH after care services. Would like to see the studio spaces be occupied by Tesco or Sainsbury’s - now vacant. There are few grocery places.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Bad pipes and after care with Southern Homes- been very disappointed with the wait times after an issue is reported or even the wait time for an issue to be reported.

What is the best feature of your home:

I love my home- especially its design. I particularly love the square layout of my apartment and the reason I bought it- clean lines.

The building is lovely, the flats are great quality and seemed better value for money than other developments. Cleverly designed with plenty of storage which is a necessity in a small space. Modern appliances and lovely bathrooms which is a nice touch. Not been here long enough to comment on the building management however, shared spaces are always clean and secure.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love Hackney Wick which is why I chose this development. Within walking distance to Victoria Park and Olympic Park, there are loads of walking routes, local restaurants and bars. Enjoying being in the heart of the creative scene where there are lots of pop-up art exhibitions and music events.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would be good to know what's going to happen to the commercial spaces below the flats which are empty currently. More clarity on what is in the service charges would be helpful.

What is the best feature of your home:

The bathrooms are beautiful, it's such a luxury to sit in a bath in a nice new flat, a rarity in London!

Living in our beautiful green abode!

Old Portsmouth Road, GU3

We are in love with our new home in River Wey Close, Old Portsmouth Road by Southern Housing. The quality of materials used in the house whether it is electrical appliances, switches, water taps, carpets, and bathroom amenities are all top notch. The surrounding areas is neatly maintained. The builder support while our transition to new home was amazing. For any technical support the team who are in the property with the on going works are just a call away to help. And they keep checking on if we have any inconveniences. This property definitely requires a five star rating

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

1 mile from the town centre located in a calm and serene beautiful Guildford. Perfect green location with great natural view around, walking distance to river wey and the beautiful walk trail. Great availability of car park, and nearby bus stops are advantages. The only thing I miss is a near by convenience store, any quick purchase, we need to go the town centre.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing to mention as such. May be some convenience store around could have been nice.

What is the best feature of your home:

Location, quality of the products used, after sales service

The property is very clean and has been finished to a very high standard. The builing management is good and they send people to come out and fix things in a timely manner. The main issue was with the side gate not locking but this was sorted. All the rooms are large and comoletely damp free.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good local pubs and good transport, too. Friendly neighbourhood and the people in the local biallges Bon collections are on time and the traffic noise is considerably lower than any where else we have lived in the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I would have known that it would take more than 3 months for the play vround to open as this was something that drew us to the area so our son could play on it.

What is the best feature of your home:

Large rooms. The french doors are a great touch and they lead onto a lovely garden.
