The property is very clean and has been finished to a very high standard. The builing management is good and they send people to come out and fix things in a timely manner. The main issue was with the side gate not locking but this was sorted. All the rooms are large and comoletely damp free.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good local pubs and good transport, too. Friendly neighbourhood and the people in the local biallges Bon collections are on time and the traffic noise is considerably lower than any where else we have lived in the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I would have known that it would take more than 3 months for the play vround to open as this was something that drew us to the area so our son could play on it.

What is the best feature of your home:

Large rooms. The french doors are a great touch and they lead onto a lovely garden.

Design of the houses is attractive from the outside and the large windows provide a lot of natural light. However the large windows are impractical inside as they limit the space internally for furniture. Although 2 bed house with en-suite is a lovely idea, it’s not vital and the space would have been better utilised for furniture/ storage space Having no back door except using the patio doors directly from the lounge is not ideal as during wet weather mud and wet comes in from the garden. The fences in the garden are too low and there is no privacy Initial snags were sorted relatively quickly but certain things such as the patio door expanding in the heat and being unable to shut them till it cools down is a security nightmare.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good aspects The beautiful local countryside. 2 good local pubs A good garage for MOTs etc. Bad aspects The negative attitude and opinions of some of the local residents about people who live on a social housing estate. The lack of facilities for children and young people. There is a token playground on the estate but this has not been opened yet for use. This leads to some children left to their own devices and getting into trouble. Local shops more expensive than supermarkets which can only be reached if you have transport

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

To have more information on the air source heat pump, brilliant ideal but totally overwhelming on how to use it. Our new home demo was sadly useless with regard to this.

What is the best feature of your home:

So far it seems to be economical to run. It looks good from the outside and looks lovely, bright and fresh inside. We are grateful to have our home and that is more important than any other issues.
