Nice development close to all you need

It is a quiet and nice designed development. The property management is good, the public spaces are always clean and well maintained. The only problem is the parking, since it was given to a private company to manage residents are struggling to park their cars

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is a great area, plenty of shops at walking distance and a Nisda local open until late everyday just at the beginning of the development. Good transport links, with 2 trains station 10 minutes walking distance and a 15 minutes bus journey to North Greenwich underground station. The only inconvenience is the parking as we can’t park on the main road and since last month we are not able to park in the development either creating lot of issues for the residents with a car

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Even if next to the railway there is no disturbing noise, it is actually a very quiet development. However if I knew before about the lack of parking available I would have probably reconsidered my decision.

What is the best feature of your home:

Very spacious to be a 1 bed flat, good soundproof and high spec materials

I’m happy here, but there are small things that could be better

At first glance the whole building and interiors have a nice look. At closer inspection, one starts to notice that the fitted kitchen, for example, has several spots where the space could’ve been better used to improve storage space. I wouldn’t choose carpets throughout the entire space as well, specially at the flat’s entrance hall. The positioning of radiators could’ve been better thought too.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is full of shops and supermarkets. We are right in between two train stations and just a short bus trip from North Greenwich tube station. The fact that we are so close to the train tracks is my only downside as in warmer days, when we open the windows to noise is quite loud.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It was a bit confusing with cold and hot water bills. The sales person told us Souther housing would take care of setting up an account, but it wasn’t done until 3 months later when I contact the hot water supplier directly.

What is the best feature of your home:

We like the layout and how big the storage/“boiler” room.
