The design of the property could have been done better ..I was previously in a 3 bed around the corner and even that lay out made me wonder why. The kitchen baffles me with sockets all being in 1 area and the kitchen space is silly.. you can't have any storage in the bathrooms or shower rooms as there is no space ! I am in a 4 bed property which makes us a big family so to be able to put storage somewhere is ideal but there just is no where you can store things upstairs everything has to be hung up. I moved in June last year and I told home group that I wasn't aware of a pigeon problem to be told that I took the property on as seen! Now it's a town house to look on top of the roof I would have to stand right at the end of the garden and look up .. the pigeons poo is constantly falling into my garden with nest waste, eggs and even baby's falling! It's whole row of property's who are having the same issue for a long long time and nothing has been done. There should have been netting put up when the buildings went up as they live under the solar panels! Instead of telling residents they don't deal with pests , these are supposed to be affordable homes so alot of people won't have the money to fix this kind of problem..

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very close to local shops which is very convenient, bus stops and schools are very close. We hardly get any anti social behaviour I mean there is a few local children who push boundaries. My road is pretty quiet

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That there was a huge pigeon problem the walls are wonky ... and the solar panels don't help at all , just because they are there doesn't mean they are linked up to the whole house could mean it's a coule of sockets! We was fed lies

What is the best feature of your home:

The view from my living room and the big windows....

The road is very quiet. however we get alot of non residents parking down our road as its non permit zone . People leave their cars without a care in the world. Which can cause problems for refuge or emergency services. People fly tip in our bin sheds

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good location for train stations has 3 supermarkets within 5 mins via car. Couple of parks near by alot of fly tipping bins collections are sometimes misses

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That there is no fire escape . We only have one exit to our building. we have had 2 big fires in the units next door and you could feel the heat/ flames when we exited the building

What is the best feature of your home:

My view when I'm on the balcony can see a lot of London when there's fireworks in the London stadium and the east of london

There is a lot of poor job done by building company

D (Owner)

Oct 2021

House design as a design is a good. There is a lot of poor job done by building company. A lot of unfinished work not up to standards. Problems appeared after moved to house or couple years later. Originally there supposed to be a park in a middle of community but they made it as a plain hill, probably just damping a lot of rubbish under. it would work much better if they stacked to original planning.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is well connected with London, considering new TFL fully opening soon. Good choice of convenient shops. Close leisure centre. Lack of parking space. Most of residents friendly and considering towards other neighbours apart from some not respectful playing loud music and smoking weed.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

As a home owner I do not use a full building management service apart from communal. Service charge is expensive for this part of London.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Before moving in I would do proper survey, even the house was a new built house.

No Longer a nice place to live.

Not so nice (Owner)

Jul 2021

They need to build a play area for the new build. And completely cut off entrance to cul de sac. Consult with residents not to park out side free parking residents homes that were built for those residents

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Was a nice area to live until they built the new build & school. No longer quiet, litter, noisy children and those that walk by. Car parking has become difficult as these new residents seem to think it ok to park outside residents homes when they already have their own private parking.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wished I'd known about this development and the school. I would not had moved.

What is the best feature of your home:

I was going to say greenery, but they litter that. None!

My house is not a home.

They know there is not enough parking around here. We have to park two or three streets down after work. It's not nice when you work late and have to walk back to your home. They should have made sure everyone had at least one parking place for each home. Pigeons nest in the solar panels and leave poo everywhere.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

House is lovely shame living room is upstairs. Would have been better if it was on ground floor open planned. Parking is terrible there's nowhere to park. As for the estate was built for working class people it's full of benefit lazy ass drug dealers. It stinks of weed horrible neighbours who think they can live for free sit on there assess all day watching people. Not forgetting the crap loud music they play all day and all the shouting there fat mouths off when people are trying to rest after a hard day's work. Revving of cars and screeching off. It's bloody great living here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Make sure your neighbours are working class
