Excellent interior design but poor choice of colour bricks

The interior layout of my plot is fantastic, a good airflow and space. Specifications is of high quality with great colours and good contrast. Although the bricks of the outside building looks old, dim and tired and could have been better such as dark brown.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I like that it is located in quiet, residence area with no high streets immediate surrounding in this development. It is opposite a big park which is great. I dislike that it is situated next to the waste management site and regularly received awful smell. There is no convenience store nearer the development which is making difficult especially for a quick grab such as milk, snacks or sandwich.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not that I can think of

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

A change of bricks colour of the building to make it looks more modern and sassy

Nice, clean, modern. Rooftop terrace?

The design of the properties are really nice, clean and modern. The appliances are reliable (after 1 year so far). Would be nice to have a rooftop terrace. The lifts haven’t been properly installed which means a large Unsightly scrape on the door. It’s more than sufficient for a first home and is of a better standard than the older buildings around the area. The property management from the developer has been really friendly and helpful even with the pandemic disruption.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

30mins to Liverpool St. nice restaurants Friendly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The service charge will increase significantly after the first financial year. Balcony facing the road means a lot of sut builds. There is no window cleaning service.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

I would add a Rooftop terrace or some sort of shared area where many neighbours can congregate.

Excellent price for a excellent house.

Design is immaculate, great finishing throughout outside and inside. Some of the facilities that I like are a dedicated heat recovery and ventilation system throughout house, great appliances given when purchasing house such as electro lux fridge, dishwasher, electric stove top and a honey well washing machine. Country side does tend to look after its house owners, but there are occasional admin errors and insufficient help provided for a problem at times.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Pretty good transport links, 10-15min buses to nearest stations. Leisure centre a 2min walk, very easy access to gym. Lack of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, however Romford has plenty. Lots of green space all around with very quiet park nearby. Dislike, council houses opposite can get rowdy at times.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There have been times in which inadequate help has been provided, but overall they always come to an agreement to a solution.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Actual size of garden.

Design wise, the outside of the houses (exterior) could have looked much better.

Design wise, the outside of the houses (exterior) could have looked much better. However, there is no doubt that their interior is one of the best I’ve seen in new built properties. Although with a few ups and downs, overall I’d recommend countryside to my friends and family because they have dealt with problems accordingly in most cases and have been responsive and attentive throughout. There is room for improvement but the builders, first point of contact team itself and site manager etc are not to blame for there is only so much they can do. Nonetheless, I’m a happy home owner and countryside have made my experience a positive one - a journey I will remember forever!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

One of the brilliant things about this location is that Morrisons, gym and swimming pool facilities, petrol pump, Asda, McDonald’s and Iceland are just at walking distance!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I’d known is that a snag list is extremely important. It is important to keep track of what you’ve been shown during your first showroom tour and what you move into. There will be teething problems with everything but a snag list will help keep both parties happy and solve issues with much more ease.

What is the best feature of your home:

Bathrooms, and windows! The bathrooms give a 5 star hotel bathroom vibes. It is beautiful, spacious, and the colour scheme is fantastic. The windows are also a winner for me! They open so wide and this amount of natural light in the house isn’t something you see in London houses.

Good but could have been better!

Avijit Barua (Owner)

The development area itself is very with lots of smooth breeze during hot weather. The back area of the development is sometimes very challenging when you bring your car for parking as our designated parking are at the back. The back Garden is very small indeed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

In terms of Location, the location is very convenient as it got lots of shops, gyms, post office, council office, University campus & huge park nearby. There are couple of bus stops as well in stone throw distance for better communication. However, ti development is quite far away from the nearest tube station which is 1.7 miles away. So travelling to central London for work which very tough some times.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Never realise the garden would have been that small and has little privacy during your very own time in the garden. Also my parking space is not straight back of the house rather another 50 meters walk from my back garden. would have been nice if i had my parking space just back of my house.

What is the best feature of your home:

The integrated kitchen with all white appliances are very good quality and also the bathrooms are very high standard. The little front garden can be very useful some times. The home has ample storage space also the garden shed.
