Great flats in a fun and vibrant area

The Beautiful modern and spacious flats are designed very well however the lobby area is quite smelly due to trash pile up. The cleaning guy does an amazing job, it is just due to the trash bins being so close by, sometimes it is putrid and smells from the 3rd floor

Love how central it is located and all the fun things to do nearby. 5 minute walk from hackneywick station

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Prompt. They have resolved all my issues relatively quickly

Wish I knew how noisy all the new construction would be.

Great place to live for young working professionals.

Overall great, but bin area can sometimes be a little messy, and doors have had some issues locking. A couple of times the lifts have been out of service, but it hasn’t taken too long to get them sorted. It is sad the bike shed isn’t secure as it was broken in to, but I understand that does happen.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great food options - Hackney bridge, restaurants and bars. Feels quite safe at night. Easy walking distance to Hackney wick station and not too far to Westfield Stratford. Limited parking availability.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Most of the time very quickly and helpfully - just the light issue is still ongoing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Sometimes Google maps can’t find the address so use e20 3as, and also the car parking vouchers from Hackney council are useful for visiting guests.

Great location and flats in Hackney Wick

Great location and 15 minute walking distance from central line! Love that there is so many things to do in the area. We moved in very early on and the building was so nice and quiet. Since then, there is regularly trash in our halls, dog urine in the elevators and trash smells in the lobby. Our flat is very nice and spacious compared to many others I have visited in East village and well worth the issues we have with the buildings cleanliness. All in all I give it a 4/5!

Trash is not picked up regularly and the trash room gets very nasty and filled up for weeks before anything is done about it.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, that have been responsive, more so the office staff not so much the property management staff.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That Here East would have seating areas facing my private balcony with students who can see right into my flat. Also that they would begin outdoor maintenance work before the legal time of 8:00 AM

Great location and lovely design however development of shops etc very slow

Design is simple but lovely inside the apartment. The management is also great at getting things done quick and efficiently however we did spend a long time with no heating because the pipes were fitted incorrectly but other than that we do love the flat

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

the location of the building is great and the management staff are great at fixing issues. However the main issues we have are that the bins are not emptied frequently enough, the development in the area has promised a co-op since we moved in in March 2021 and nothing has since happened so we’d love that to be speeded up!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly and pretty efficiently from the building managers

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

that the shops that were promised wouldn’t be build when it was promised and that the noisy neighbours upstairs we would have to speak to first before management got involved

Good spot and good apartment

The apartment it’s self is good, but finishing details were poor. Paint is in uneven, doors weren’t properly fitted, locations of plugs don’t make a lot of sense. Bike lockers are unsafe and easy to access and the garden space isn’t used very much. The property management is good overall.

I like the access to public transportation and the variety of shops that aren’t big business. This area has personality because it has lots of small shops and restaurants

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They’ve been helpful and friendly, but getting repairs takes a long time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew the extent of disruption events in the park cause.
