Cottage Farm is a lovely place to live.

The design is fairly standard but the build quality is high. Property management seems to be good. I feel once the site has been fully finished there will be a need to extend facilities and the builders need to ensure that the sewers and drainage to the area is sufficient to deal with such high volumes.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The neighbourhood has a community spirit that makes owners feel safe living at Cottage Farm. The bin collections are regular and reliable. Good schools are nearby. Traffic noise is minimal despite being located off the A6 dual carriageway but this gives great access to local amenities and other road networks.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Fairly speedily and with care and sensitivity to individual needs.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The fact that the pathway through to Coombe Park would take as long as it has

Cottage Farm is a lovely place to live, the neighbours are friendly and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. The houses are well built and designed. The access to green space is amazing with a local park and fields on the doorstep. The neighbourhood feels safe.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A great location for access to local amenities including supermarkets, shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and take aways. Despite being close to the main A6 bypass, the noise from traffic is low. Access to local green spaces is great with Coombe Park on the doorstep. The local primary and secondary schools are nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, everything was dealt with in a timely manner always.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would have been good to get a snag report done when I first moved in.

The layout of the house and quality of materials used is good. We especially like the open plan kitchen and that we can access the garage from within the house. The building management service is average. haven't come across the property management people yet but the development is pretty clean.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The development is centrally located close to good private and local schools, supermarkets and high street.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That they are allowing care homes to operate in the development

What is the best feature of your home:

Kitchen , 3 good size double bedroom and two of which are en suit

Well designed homes. Wide roads and generous pavements. Little space between houses mean there is not much off street parking. Water pressure in the area is okay. Grassy areas and shrubs have not been planted well and look slightly shabby. Home builder customer service has been good on the whole

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Close to amenities such as Sainsbury's supermarket, doctors surgeries, schools, transport routes, dentist. Development can be noisy with children playing on the street and cars with loud exhausts driving by quickly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No building management but home builder has been responsive and attentive to most issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Be meticulous with the snagging survey and continue to keep an eye on things that have been repaired as there can be failures ongoing
