Love the design!

Love the design! Every floor lift lobby has got something different. It’s modern but not too much! The cleaning and building management has always been really good. Facilities like the lifts, lobby, cinema, business room and gym are also always very clean.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

So many local shops just a 2 minute walk away. Convenient supermarket with everything you need! Some really nice bars and restaurants as well.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I cannot think of anything that we wish we would of known before we moved in! We were told pretty much everything on our viewings!

What is the best feature of your home:

We love the kitchen and living room designs, they are very sociable and easy to furnish! Also the walk in wardrobes which make the bedrooms look very modern!

Lovely place to live

The design of the building is beautiful Facilities are great especially the cinema as there are plenty of seats if you have guests visiting It’s great that you get given a number to call if anything goes wrong or if you need some help regarding the property The gardens are lovely as the sun hits them throughout the day

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Parking could be better the spaces are quite small Can here music from the high street on Fridays and Saturdays The convenience of being so close to the town centre is great The range of shops is good you can get everything you need by only waking a few steps

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Moving in was abit tricky with all the heavy doors and having to move everything up and down a lift especially the big furniture like my sofa which almost didn’t fit in the lift

What is the best feature of your home:

The floor to ceiling windows, the kitchen appliances and the wardrobes

Lumina - fantastic development in great central location, with some day to day challenges

The design of the property is fantastic as are the facilities. Unfortunately the business lounge is still being used as a marketing/sales suite over a year after many residents have moved in. The quality of the property is very high, and Berkeley homes have been great at fixing any snagging issues. It can sometimes be difficult/slow to get a helpful response from the management company on day to day issues. We have also had some issues with post being left in the lobby and going missing, despite Berkeley/POD having put signs up to prevent this happening.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Lumina appartements are located in the centre of town making it really convenient to access shops, restaurants, transport etc. There is sometimes noise from the adjacent car park, especially at night on the weekends.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Whilst getting a new build is great, if you are one of the first to move in you will be living in a building site for the first few months (at least).

What is the best feature of your home:

The luxury finish of the property and it being ready to move into without any work required.

Prime location, pleasant living and accessible transportation and amenities

The apartment building is finished to a high and modern standard. The kitchen comes fitted with integrated appliances, all being ran on electric energy. The kitchen/living room area is open plan, which creates more space, as well as accessibility. Rooms allow for a lot of natural light to enter, which is a plus. Storage space is ample, allowing for a more minimalist appearance (should that be what you desire) - i.e. not having to store too much on counter tops or surfaces. Facilities include an on-site gym (although relatively small, it does provide enough equipment for a good workout), a screening room, business suite and bike storage. Building and property management are responsive and do well to keep residents informed of any pertinent information (repairs, cleaning, disruptions/work being carried out etc.). Overall, it is a pleasant place to live, with great local amenities and transport links.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Camberley offers a good range of amenities, from leisure and fitness to social. There are gyms and leisure facilities within a short walking distance, with further gyms a short drive away. The night life is vibrant, with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Train station within a couple minutes walking distance. The apartment building is ideally situated, within the town centre. This makes it incredibly easy for carrying out day to day tasks (going to the bank, picking up shopping etc.). Although close to bars, noise isn't a huge issue.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Whilst I am sure it is the nature of living in an apartment building, delivery of packages can sometimes be tricky. Couriers sometimes leave packages in the lobby, rather than placing into the delivery storage unit or bringing up to your apartment. It is not a huge problem from my perspective, but can leave the lobby area looking a little untidy. I typically plan to have packages delivered on days I know I am going to be in, so I can head down and collect as soon as they're delivered.

What is the best feature of your home:

Large, spacious wardrobes - The wardrobes are floor to ceiling, offering great space for hanging clothes up as well as storing items on the shelves above the railing, as well as below on the floor. The wardrobes also have a walking area space, which gives off the look of a walk-in wardrobe, without taking up as much of the space.

Perfect home in the progressive town of Camberley

Ryan I (Owner)

The development itself is beautiful, it has fantastic interior design alongside a bike store, cinema room, lounge area and communal garden. The building is kept in good condition and the property management company are very responsive to any issues or concerns you may have.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a fantastic range of different shops and restaurants nearby with a cinema, arcade and bowling alley nearby. Very accessible. The only issue we may have is there is noise outside in the town on some evenings and sometimes anti-social behaviour.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I would have known it could be a little loud in the evenings outside the apartment.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature of the home would be the modern interior design which makes the apartment feel spacious and fresh.
