Fantastic Apartment Building with amazing amenities!

Roof terrace is amazing along with the rooftop kitchen which can be hired out. The downstairs working area is great when working from home or just wanting a change of scenery. Apartments are very modern with smart technology and an air filtering system built in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Prime location not far from anywhere in Manchester City centre. Ancoats/northern quarter area. Very close to bars and restaurants

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Immediately. They have responded straight away to any issues I’ve had.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Small issue with the windows which are due to be fixed.

Good from outside, bad on the inside

From the outside the building looks great but that's where it ends. The apartments are poorly put together and the windows leak rain water. The beds are very uncomfortable and the sofas give you back pain. My parcels have also gone missing and not investigated.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The apartments are not very well insulated and the noise is very loud. There is little parking in area. Unfortunately there is always tent set up with a homeless person begging residents for money.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They replying with a holding email and never get back to you. All rather disappointing.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I had known about the reputation of Urban Bubble before moving in

Great place to live

Dan (Tenant)

The overall experience is the building is great, the apartments are modern, as well as communal spaces available to work and socialise. The building also has an exclusive penthouse terrace available for tenants, which provides indoor and outdoor spaces. The staff in the building are regularly available to assist whether this be maintenance related enquires or general enquiries.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Being located in the city centre means that you’re walking distance to all amenities. Although the building is located on a busy road we do not notice outside noise very often, parking availability is available for on street paid parking.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues we’ve had in the apartment (which has been very little) have been met with efficiency by the staff.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

To make use of the communal spaces. Working areas, cinema room, gym and terrace.

No complaints, a great place to live!

Anco&Co has been fantastic, a well-designed spacious apartment, beautifully architected building, social events for residents, a pet-friendly environment and great facilities. An all around great place to live, especially given the location. Staff are always happy to help, the app works well for paying rent and the easy plug and play WiFi with options to upgrade the speeds is a nice touch.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ancoats is such a bustling area with local amenities near by, along with a whole host of great bars. We live pretty high up so noise isn't too much of an issue other than when windows are open in the summer.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very prompt response for maintenance, usually a day or so. They're always friendly and happy to help.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Possibly a bit more information when moving in, a little guide or something detailing all of the amenities and local spots could be nice.

A sociable, friendly & modern place to rent

Libbie (Tenant)

Nov 2023

The building is modern and aesthetically pleasing which provided a comfortable living environment. The addition of communal areas, like the fantastic roof terrace I think has added value to the development, which encourages a sense of community among residents.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Moving from London to Manchester alone for the first time, I was super nervous! However, from move in day right until the end of my tenancy, Anco&Co made me feel right at home. The central location is perfect (minus the street/traffic noise) and the modern, comfortable flat had everything I needed. The communal areas, including the roof terrace, were excellent for socializing, and the staff were always so friendly & helpful. I particularly liked the social aspect of the building especially the events they run in the social spaces such as quizzes, yoga & more. It was a really lovely place to call home & I was sad to leave!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quick responses and work always carried out on time

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I only wish I was Informed about the noise from the gym directly below!
