New clean residential property with some aspect that could improve

Review Date Sep 2024

Nearby convenient store, small park and hospital. Has got a bus stop nearby but rarely see bus coming over. Not near good public transport. Important of having own car. Still ongoing construction so can be bit noisy now and then.

Please review your development:

Design of building are good with new built facilities. As for management part, I had had some bad experiences. Thermostat installed which is great but as new built home had some issues with heating system due to thermostat error and gas blocking. Took a while for them to come and fix it which was an unhappy experience.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

In viewing the properties, staff who attended had not be very informative about the properties management process. He had attended merely just for opening up the door and let us have a look around. Wish staff will be more knowledgeable about their buildings

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have got urgent, non urgent categories when dealing with problems. If problems can be individualized and more communicative that’ll be best. I needed up calling daily for couple of times just to get one issue sorting

Great selection of shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Perfectly placed for the motorway network. A quiet and peaceful development.

Please review your development:

My family and I love everything about our new home at Keld. From the floor to ceiling triple glazed windows and open plan design to the intelligent lighting systems and beautiful kitchen.

Raul from Northstone went above and beyond to make sure the buying process went as smoothly as possible for us, he’s an absolute star!

The entire Northstone team have gone out of their way to make sure everything about our new home exceeded our expectations.

I can’t recommend a Northstone home highly enough, after looking at many other new developments, the build quality of these houses was clearly superior, and the entire team have been superb from day one.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn’t appreciate just how peaceful it was here until we moved in, it’s perfect.

What is the best feature of your home:

The large for to ceiling triple glazed windows, high ceilings and beautiful kitchen

There aren’t much local shops around, so we have to travel quite a distance to get things needed.
The area is quiet, peaceful. It’s also far to the train station and just 1 bus goes through here so you need to plan your time around that if you don’t have your personal car.
Parking is okay, bin collection is also okay.
There’s little to no interaction between neighbors. Everyone just does their thing.

Please review your development:

Building structure is basic just like any UK new build.
For the facilities, I like that the houses come with some basic integrated furnishings.
The property management is average, for the times we’ve had issues, we’ve mostly had to follow up like twice before the building company came to address the issues. But they do a thorough job when they come.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I do not have anything I wish I had known before moving in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They’ve been proactive when messages are sent to them. And when we follow up with them on the building contractors, they immediately address this.
