Canal walks with lots of green spaces so ideal for dog lovers. Great sense of Community and a vast range of activities throughout the week for the young and the not so young. Buses to Railway station/town centre are twice hourly. Plans for a local train station and the opening of the new bypass will make the Fylde coast more accessible.

Living at Waterside is like being on holiday every day of the year with the Canal walks, green spaces and vast range of activities at the community centre.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature of my Home is it's beautiful Location.

Great area, super safe, feels like you are in the countryside. Lots of beautiful trial walks. Safe for kids

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The only negative is the after sales care team once we were handed over by the builders. The builders could do nothing wrong and would do anything to help us. It was hard to get hold of the after sales team.

What is the best feature of your home:

The back of our house opens up to a gorgeous south facing garden

Lovely estate next to the canal. It is very leafy and green and has lots of paths and trails around Cottam.

It would have been good to understand the area a little more, as since we have lived here we have found so many nice trails and so many positives about the area.

What is the best feature of your home:

Quality finish inside and out of the home. Decent size south facing garden for a new build.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Cottam is a nice place to live and feels safe, with very little anti-social behaviour. Plenty of space and close to town, the countryside and motorway network. However, the area could do with a few more shops, restaurants & bars. Overall though, it’s a great place to live.

Wish I had known more about the local area and amenities, Cottam could do with a few more shops, bars & restaurants.

What is the best feature of your home:

Kitchen - high quality build and appliances and nicely finished.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

With the addition of a local Co-Op, this has been a huge improvement for the area in terms of local shopping

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The noise generated by "piling" while the site is still in development, especially for those working from home

What is the best feature of your home:

We just love the house on the whole. We are just over five years into our ownership and still can't believe we own this house in this location
