Weston Woods is a lovely place to live.

Our property is well-designed and constructed. There were surprisingly few teething problems, and those that did exist were swiftly addressed. There is a children's play area less than 100 metres away; that area is always kept clean and tidy. Our grandchild always enjoys her visits to our home, and to the play area. We would however like to see the attenuation pond being constructed at an early date.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is a lovely place to live. The neighbours are friendly and approachable. There is no anti-social behaviour or traffic noise. Whilst there are bus services in the vicinity, ideally you need access to a vehicle. The bin collections are reliable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The best part is the friendly neighbours. Only concern is that the parking can be difficult for two cars.

What is the best feature of your home:

The views from our property, and the size and shape of the accommodation.

Looking forward to the final months

The site common areas could do with a tidy up now. Grass needs cutting on the play area. The layout of the development is great. Looking forward to having the building yard all grassed and planted up. Sometimes the bins on the play area take a long time to be emptied.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great to have a primary school so close. Would be great to have a local shop. But most amenities are a short drive away.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How long it would take before the builders would be gone

What is the best feature of your home:

The layout downstairs. The size of the garden and the style of the exterior- not just a box with windows. Has some nice features such as the double bay.

They sell houses that aren’t up to building regulations there was a 2 inch gap under the back door so how did it pass the air test . There was no hand rail on the stairs so had did they get a completion certificate off NHCB . We have received no corgi certificate or NIC certificate to say gas and electrics are safe they are sending in odd job men to do tradesmen’s work . Don’t sign anything that says your satisfied because they get a bonus for that and that’s all they care about

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good area with pub no shops very quiet just a shame about all the other problems schools local Crewe only 5 mins away

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How poor the customer service was and the standard of the build

What is the best feature of your home:

That it’s still standing because they are taking housing down on the site

Modern and classic at the same time. Well build houses. Nice green space arrangement. One disadvantage I can think of is no bins around, especially dog’s poo bins. Great playground. Wish that speed bumps would be present at the way through on the estate.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

All as it should be at the village

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Great peaceful place

Lovely property in a quite village location, we’ve had no issues with the property (except a leaky drainpipe which was promptly fixed!). A great kids playground on the development and rural walks nearby. Layout of the development is generally good except a fence which is lower than head height so our living room can be looked into by the neighbours!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely village location, generally a peaceful feel to the development with kids playing happily in the playground and grassy areas. Parking usually no problems, the main parking issue for my specific area is the builders using the street to park which causes issues to reverse out of a driveway! Very little traffic noise or anti social behaviour and feels like a safe place to live. Only downside is having no shop within walking distance for us!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Remembering everything when you do the weekly shop as driving back out can be a pain!
