The aesthetic of the properties in Prince's Gardens are very appealing and modern. The layout of the houses work really well for all kinds of families and living situations. The drive space and gardens are large and perfect for any kind of us. The management of the property is superb, they are very understanding and helpful with all inquiries.

Prince's Gardens is very close to all the amenities you could need. There's a tram stop nearby and bus stops close too.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There was no TV aerial installed in the property. Though, the landlord gave us permission to install Sky TV.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

Flatter garden. My property has quite a steep garden and a flatter garden would allow us to use it more.

Beware antisocial neighbours

See above. We’ve had extremely antisocial neighbours move in creating a noise nuisance. Simple life have turned a blind eye and told us to contact the council if the issue persists. These people are playing music in the early morning extremely loudly.

The house and driveway are nice. However we’ve had new neighbours move in who are extremely noisy and anti-social. Simple life seem to have turned a blind eye. Please be aware that although most neighbours are decent there are some extremely antisocial ones around. You won’t get any help from Simple Life.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded poorly to the neighbours breaking Simple Life’s own tenant charter. These people are causing a noise disturbance and littering outside.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known if you have a problem with your neighbours being antisocial; Simple Life will turn a blind eye and leave you to it. No consequences for antisocial behaviour.

Hello, Thank you for your review. We’re so sorry that you’re having problems with your neighbour. With any antisocial behaviour, the first port of call would always be to contact the local council or the police but we do encourage residents to keep us informed of any further occurrences so we can support the situation as much as possible. Antisocial behaviour is not tolerated by Simple Life, however in order for a fair outcome for both parties to be arranged, evidence is often required and the council has more power in these circumstances to apply fines etc. If the problem persists, as your landlord, we can serve warnings and in very serious circumstances, notice to the people responsible may be served, however please be aware that this is a legal process and unfortunately can take quite some time, which is out of our hands. This is a well developed neighbourhood with good road design and has great potential to be an excellent living space. However, the building material shows signs of compromises that have been made in constructions. Management also needs to be responsive.

Management has been slow to respond to queries that have been raised and do not show urgency to resolve issues.

I wish I knew about the build quality of the development.

There was admittedly quite a few delays due to Covid restrictions and additionally, we have since made a lot of changes to the team in order to bring the service up to the standards we pride ourselves on, so we do hope you have seen an improvement in this area. Fantastic development, lovely homes and quiet location with great local amenities, close by to supermarkets/shops/restaurants and easy access to motorways and the heart of Sheffield city centre, I would highly recommend simple life homes to anybody and they are great to deal with.

I would have liked to have know the actual dimensions of the property before we moved in as this was our first home and would have been ideal so we could have ordered furniture beforehand.

Modern styling and great size with plenty of space for storage.

The houses are really nice and look really good on the inside too. They are very clean and hold up really well. The gardens are a great size and we have had minimal problems regarding areas of the house. As odd as it may read, sound doesn’t travel that easily through the house which is nice and peaceful

Great houses for a great price. Really enjoy living here the people around a really nice and very helpful

Literally nothing apart from would have liked bigger bins but not sure that’s for anyone but us to do
