The building is very well designed and the flat comes with good quality appliances and furniture that suit the space. Everything is already prepared and functional before you move in, which takes a great deal of stress away from the moving process. The building and property management teams have been lovely to speak to and have been incredibly quick to respond to questions and queries, which has left me feeling secure and cared for as a tenant. They have been one of the best parts about Upperbanks, and have greatly contributed to making the development feel like a community.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is fantastic and close to a wide range of amenities that cater to everyone. It is convenient and everything you need is within walking distance, but also has multiple transport links nearby should you need to go further out (train, tram, bus interchange). There is a large amount of parking availability and very minimal noise coming into the flat from traffic, which is impressive considering the flat is next to a main road. There has been no antisocial behaviour and everyone within the complex has been kind and respectful.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management have been very quick to respond to issues I have raised. Upon moving in, the fridge was not working, so I rang the concierge to request help. They had sent somebody to help immediately, and the issue was fixed within 30 minutes. It is reassuring to know that there is such a reliable team on hand.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would be nice to know the demographics of people living here to know a bit more about who lives in the development, and who we would be having community events with. (Not sure if this is GDPR compliant though so may not be possible!)

Building is secure, the staff I get along with great and if there is any issues in your room they’ll get someone to fix it asap! They treat my little girl so well here too when I have her couple days a week. Would highly recommended this place to stay.

Great service here. Feel safe & staff are 100% friendly! I have no issues with anything or if I do they’d sort that!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They do checks I think once a month and I had an issue with my kitchen sink tap and they informed me and fixed it

I know the building was clean, new & safe and knew I needed to live here

Can hear my neighbour snoring and using the toilet

I can hear my next-door neighbour snoring like a pig throughout my whole apartment, and the management team won't do anything about it. I can also hear other tenants urinating and flushing their toilets: Feels like I'm in a public toilet at times. I've never experienced this anywhere else.

I'm kept awake by my next-door neighbour's rumbling snoring every night because the walls are so thin.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They gave me the unsavoury offer of terminating my lease with only 7 days to find somewhere else to live.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No soundproofing. Worse than a house-share and feels like I'm sharing a bedroom with my neighbour.

The facilities in this development are much better than other places. The apartment is spacious and perfect for couples and small families Everything is well managed from viewing to handing over everything was smooth and proper facilitated. The development is safe and secure. The staff working is very friendly

The local area is very clean, everything is available on walking distance so living here is easier as compared to any other place. The bulding ia safe and the staff working is very cordial.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have hardly faced any issues however once we reported the problem which was resolved within a few hours.

Nothing, as everything was conveyed before. We had an easy move in.

Excellent flats

The whole atmosphere is excellent and really helps lift the apartments up away from the surrounding area which has it's flaws. The flats however are nice enough and good enough value, with excellent staff and assistance that it more than makes up for this

Local amenities look abundant and are right on the doorstep flats close enough to transport and soundproof so you can't hear outside noise unless windows are open

They've come immediately to help without issue and have been lovely
