Safe space with quirky design and homely feel.

The design of the building is fresh, quirky and homely. The shared space on the ground floor is comfortable to work in, hang out and meet friends. I haven’t had much experience with the garden terraces but hope to access this perk in warmer weather. The lifts are fast and building access is easy and convenient. I have had great interactions with the buildings maintenance and reception team, always helpful and friendly. And the communal areas are kept clean and tidy.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great access to busses, station, public parks, sea front, shops, pubs and cafesParking availability is not great for visitors - 2hour limit on street. Traffic noise is expected however quiet with closed doors/windows.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The issue I raised regarding a towel rail not working was fixed quickly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish parking for visitors was an option, or some kind of permit style thing - eg 25 permits per household to use the underground car park.

Central but really quiet and peaceful

Recently moved in and the move in process was very easy with the help of the York and Elder team. From the vieving to the actual day we moved in Bea, Jodie, Anat, Jamie and Andreas all were extremely kond and helpful. The design of the building is amazing. Feels great to be inside it.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

In a very central location. 5 minute walk to the train station and 3-4 minute walk to the nearest bus station which has direct busses to the other side of the city. Has a large supermarket nearby. Has some local pubs and cafes nearby as well. Central but really quiet and peaceful.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Did not have major problems yet but the team was very helpful in addressing our requests and providing solutions.

Immaculate in every way. Modern decor and building design. Friendly and welcoming community. FOH staff genuinely helpful and pleasure to interact with. Facilities excellent Excellent storage facilities for mail and post. A pleasure to come home after a hard days work and unwind.

Walking distance of all essential amenities. Food options galore. Quiet and peaceful living space yet moments from the hustle and bustle, cafes, restaurants etc.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, any issues or queries dealt with minimum fuss and friendly attitude.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Back entrance is often the most convenient way to access the building when accessing deliveries m and taxi’s due to parking.

Overall apartment and building are good. Building has 24/7 online services, parcel room, gym and so on. facilities are good but not the best. I would prefer induction hob and oven with pyrolysis. it will bring more quality in life. The quality of the wall covering in the bathroom is average. stains appear in the wall from any splashes of water.

Apartment is bright, fresh and has minimalistic style. it has good location that is close to all necessary places.

Building management is amazing. response was fast and all problems were solved in time.

Very friendly and helpful staff make you feel at home and takes away the stress of moving. The design of the communal spaces are great and there are plenty of workspace areas. DOG FRIENDLY …… is such a good thing (The staff love dogs and that’s super important to us) Very responsive property maintenance keeps everything just as it should be. So far - so good :)

The construction of the building is very modern and comfortable. It is very close to the train station which makes commuting super easy. There are plenty of shops nearby yet it is in a quiet location. Downside is no parking.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We had an issue with water on the patio and it was resolved very quickly

There is a nice community feel and the staff promote that which makes living here much nicer
