Designs are good. For few months in the starting the building management and property management is good but not after that. Designers must have asked us to if we would like any changes. For example there is no Bin space. We have to place our bins in front of the cars and outside the garage door.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I don’t think anything is bad. Parking is available, bin collections in time, less traffic noise, shops are at convenient walking distance. The only drawback is that there are no Parks.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

First few months were good responses but after that it took ages and sometimes no reply and no solution.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That we’re not allowed to change anything first 5 years.

A Great Place to live!

The development is clean and well maintained and there are some nice Green areas to break things up a bit so you don't feel surrounded. The properties are well designed for modern living, I've been in mine just short of a year and have found it to be very energy efficient which is great for the pocket and the environment..

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This development is in a great position, theres a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants which are just a short drive (possibly a walk) away. There is a Train station in South Wigston connecting you to London and other areas, theres also a good Bus service into Leicester city centre and if you want to access the Motorway access the M1 Is just a shirt drive away too. The property's have private off road parking and there is a regular bin service. Its quiet here, which I like and there is lovely countryside on one side of the development.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have only had a couple of minor issues and received a prompt response when these were reported.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We are on a Hill so it can get a bit windy at times.

The Place to Live in South Leicestershire

We moved into this development just one year in, where the building work is shared between David Wilson and Barratts Homes. There will be at least 700 homes when fully finished with plans for many local facilities. The site will eventually stretch from the Wigston Meadows Estate to Kilby Bridge. The house is built to a very high build quality and will be a great home to live in for many years to come.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The house design is perfect and in a great location. The site is very quiet when the developer's are not working. A short 5 minute drive takes you into Wigston Town which has many amenities.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

They need to complete the paths through the development.

The development is very well made. The house is spacious, with moderately sized rooms with a fairly good size garden. there are I believe five different types of design and a range of prices so suitable for a variety of people. So overall the design suited me well.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are at least two parking for every house, which I find very convenient as most people nowadays have two cars. There is a bin collection point very close to my house so I can easily go there. It is in the suburbs so it is relatively quiet.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wished I had known about the local area more, however, I quickly got accustomed to my way around the Wigston town, etc.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature would be the cupboards that Davidwillson fitted for me, however with an extra cost.
