Cozy house and planty of space

The design of my house is very good as it separates the bathtub in one bathroom and the shower in another bathroom, making it an ensuite. The neighborhood was well designed and has a good external maintenance structure. When I needed maintenance in the house, they were all taken care of by the maintenance website

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

the best point is the proximity to the big markets, the TRAM, having a park and easy access to the motorway. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The downside is the limited availability of restaurants and bars.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All requests were responded to quickly and the deadline for fixing problems was made without much delay.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the garden does not have an adequate system to drain the water. And it also has a very small floor space.

Nice house. Terrible landlords

Building management is the biggest flaw. The company will scrutinise everything to not give you your deposit back. The previous tenant told us they charged them for “not dusting the light switches” Design of property is nice and open plan and has all whitegoods. The white goods are haphazardly installed especially washing machine which shakes the entire property and is extremely loud! Multiple reports of rats roaming the area and in gardens but they refuse to help as not inside the property.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local park and local tram. Are great but causes undesirables in the area. The corner tenant is very antisocial with many children who scream and are a nuisance. She leaves trash everywhere and has multiple rats which roam the neighbourhood at night

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond with dragging their feet and arguing to try and not do the work they are legal obligated to do

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The neighbour on the corner is absolutely disgusting! Bath tub pipe leaks and due to poor fitting. No aerial! Even though there are plugs throughout for area cable there isnt one. I raised this with them thinking it was just faulty and told no there isn’t one i would need to personally pay for one to be fitted. But if i try to have one fitted they say im not allowed in the loft space where the aerial should plug into the house system…

A great street with modern homes.

The properties are modern and clean looking which is great although the drive ways could have been made wider. We have had issues previously with leaks which have been dealt with quickly and efficiently although the street has an issue with rats that has now been ongoing for months and doesn’t seem to be getting dealt with. Neighbours and ourselves all share this issue. Regardless of the issue above the homes are lovely and well maintained, we enjoy living here and will continue to do so.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The neighbourhood is friendly and the houses are modern although we have suffered with rat problems that the landlord is not resolving as are many on the street. Overall we have had no problems living here and enjoy living here the only downside is the rats. The public transport links are great and the gardens are well maintained.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, communication is efficient between the building management and the tenant.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The neighbours are great although I wish we could have know the houses were built on lane which is prone to bog. Our back garden floods when it rains.

Great Family home with good access to Transport.

The house is nice, warm during the winter and cool during summer, some things are a bit cheaply made but not anything major. The garden is quite big and spacious and perfect for a Sunday bbq. I think the houses on Rose Street are perfect for a family of 3/4 that are looking to rent near Manchester.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

South Chadderton Tram Station within 100 meters. Close to a few shops and the gym. Very easy to get anywhere you would like to go like Manchester, since its very close to Manchester Road.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Issues take quite a while to be resolved sometimes but they get done in the end.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How warm it is during the winter and how cool it is during the summer.

Nice area

There is no privacy is the house unless you close all the blinds which you wouldn’t do in the day time. One bathroom is poorly designed considering it would be the main bathroom there’s not enough room to move around. We had an annual check on the property however none of the issues raised on that visit were ever resolved.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A great area to live in as it has close links to the motorway and tram stops. The street is well maintained and is peaceful living here

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond fairly quickly. No issues reporting an issue. The issue is with the actual problem being resolved. E.g our back door has moved again which means we get a draft in the winter and can’t open one of the windows. The fan in the kitchen is leaving stains on the wall which results in us painting the wall as you can’t clean and it’s too much of a big job for the landlords to spend on fixing it. Another poor design

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing, we’re happily living here for the time being
