The estate itself is nice and well designed, with nice greenery. The houses look good from the exterior. The interior is adequate, with the kitchen a particular highlight. The skylights really add light to the rooms. I don’t think the overall finish was great, with plaster and paint far from perfect. It all looked a bit rushed and far from what I would expect if I was supervising a decorator myself. The gardens look great when you spend the money and have them redone, but the state of the ground and turf is terrible when you move in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

All of the shops you need are within a short drive. Restaurants aren’t bad with West Derby village a short drive away. Bus link to town is really easy and buses are frequent. However, there is no accessible train line

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Hard to get hold of, resistant to fixing issues. Don’t recommend

I wish I had checked for poor finishing before signing off that I was happy.

New houses make the area look much better, big houses big back gardens but no front gardens... Road works on the roads are much better no pot holes and speed bumps aren’t as bumpy... Landlords are very helpful, any quieres will fix have been thoughtful through lockdown.

Lovely area to live in. Quiet and respectful neighbours.

Thin walls definitely! Can hear everything through walls and hard to heat home.

Very English style neighbourhood

Design of the houses is always the same, difficult to find a way in the neighbourhood to or out the park and local stores, unless you spend a year in the area. Not many playgrounds and places for walking or sport activities, no swimming pools and gym. I would like to see the gym even tiny one but nearby.

All the problems issues resolved as quickly as possible

Thanks for your feedback Alexander, we are sorry to hear there aren't as many facilities nearby as you would've hoped for. There are a handful of independent gyms around 8-10 minutes' drive from Norris Green, as well as a larger gym 13 minutes' drive away (Great Homer Street, L5 3LQ) – we hope this helps! In regards to your comment about parking, all Live DifRent properties at this development come with parking for residents’ use, in the form of either a driveway or parking space. As we are unable to identify your tenancy based on the information from this review, please could we ask that you raise this with your Asset Manager and they can discuss this in further depth with you. We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional parking spaces for guests. We are glad to see that for any problems that have arisen at your property, your Asset Manager has been able to resolve those as quickly as possible for you.

The property in Norris green was brilliant with two very big bedrooms in this 2 bedroom semi detached it was the perfect size for our family, the facilities in this property were second to none with a brand new upstairs bathroom thoroughly cleaned and looking brand new, a kitchen that looked like every appliance in there was brand new and lounge and garden area that was amazing for relaxing with the family The property management was brilliant with how they took care of everything from when we walked into our new home we could tell that it had been given a massive clean as it was spotless and really made it easier walking through our new home

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area in Norris green is very inspiring with local football grounds nearby for the children. The local area has a good shopping square that is less than 10 minutes away from the area that is very useful for everyday needs The local restaurants are lovely as well with a number of takeaways in the area The local transport is brilliant with a local bus stop that can take you into Liverpool town in 30 minutes

The area of Norris green is nice but surround areas was abit less done up then the area we lived in

The parking situation outside the property was a little cramped only enough space really for one car

Affordable family development.

The different types of houses each have their own pros and cons. The designs are all lovely looking aesthetically and give a modern look to the area. The facilities within and around the development are ideal, its not far from the city centre and bus routes run frequently. The houses are well priced so can come with slight issues. The walls are not as thick as desired on the semi-detached houses, however the detached homes are a lot quieter. Garden sizes vary and although each home has a garden, the ground needs working as there is a lot of rubble and "leftover" building work under the soil (in our situation anyway). Overall the development is worth the cost and is very homely.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Opposite a string of small shops, good bus routes to the city and only a 15 minute drive. Primary school close by as well as a doctors surgery and pharmacy.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

After first moving in, almost 4 years ago, repairs were carried out quickly however some were reoccurring so it took longer for them to be sorted. We no longer go through the building management for repairs as have not had any for a couple of years.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Work the Garden if you wish to plant out there. Make sure you check the driveway space if you have multiple cars as some homes struggle to fit more than 1. Work out how much storage space you require as a garage has been vital for us!
