Flats get very cold in the winter

Tom C (Tenant)

Verified Resident

Poor soundproofing, you can hear everything from the surrounding flats, poor water pressure, maintinence requests can take a while but good once they arrive. Flats get very cold in the winter and do not retain heat well, some heaters are storage heaters and very old

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Central location for shops, bars etc but can get noisy and dirty due to city centre, quieter than West Street itself

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Issues are resolved eventually though can take a while

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking outside can be expensive on weekends especially Saturday

Hi Tom, Thank you for taking the time to provide your detailed feedback. We appreciate your positive comments about our central location and the convenience it offers for shops, bars, and other amenities. We understand that this comes with some noise and other challenges, which we continually strive to manage. We’re sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced, particularly with soundproofing, water pressure, and heating during the colder months. We recognise that these are significant concerns. We are committed to addressing these problems; therefore, we have brought this to the attention of our wider team. We apologise for any inconvenience you’ve faced and appreciate your patience. Best regards, Holly

A good property to live.

Varun Uppal (Tenant)

Reference to my flat, overall good, proper ventilation, ample space for a couple. Property management through website is pretty handy. Our property manager Mr Mohammad is really helpful in any need. Only thing is taps where there are individual taps for hot and cold water instead of a mixer which would have been better.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Right on city center so all facilities are within walking distance. This includes transportation, supermarket and other shops.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes through website response is there and property manager also.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There was nothing I missed in my viewing so everything fine.

Convenient home near the University

Madhumitha R (Tenant)

Verified Resident

Feb 2024

The apartments have been deigned well, with good ventilation and natural lighting. There are built in storage spaces and the furnishings are of a good standard. There is an off-road parking spot. Although it’s a walk-up apartment, two flights of stairs are not difficult to climb.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Central location, close to both city Centre and the University. Very close to a primary school and playground- ideal for families.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, they fixed a leaking roof and a fridge issue promptly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Mound isn’t too much of an issue here in this building, it’s maintained well.
