The development itself is lovely, the grass is not well laid, its dying in a lot of areas but i believe they are looking into this. It is nice and quiet and has a lovely feel to it, generally it is well kept and is pretty to walk around. I love the area.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love the area however I do wish that the short cut route to the station would be opened up sooner as this is quite key for residents. I also think the sales office (which will eventually be a community centre) could have been better used being a small shop. The development its quite set back so you are not walking distance from shops so having a local option would have been great. Th development is surrounded by lots of green space and feels very calming and godalming itself is lovely.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The loft not being usable. We actually only found out that we could not use the loft on our completion day. This was disappointing as not only does it limit storage but it was actually used as a selling point to us so seemed a bit deceitful.

What is the best feature of your home:

practical storage spaces, the house feels like it was designed with you in mind, very practically built to fit normal life, with linen cupboards, fitted wardrobes, large under stairs cupboards, a good amount of wall outlets and lighting.

Good design variety and nice interconnect with nature with plenty of part area, trees and wildlife given good consideration. All the facilities you need in properties and really friendly community. Overall very quiet for a large development and looking forward to school, hub, local store and new pub all being completed over the next two years.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely small high street, with all your essentials, good pubs and close to transport links. Development still ongoing but will be finished and all amenities within a couple of years. Lots of bars and restaurants within short distance as well as shops and great outdoor activities.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That’s home facilities which are part of the development have taken longer than expected to complete…all coming but would have been nice sooner.

What is the best feature of your home:

High ceilings and balcony/deck to maximise evening sunshine.

The development generally looks very nice and the layout seems good. The lack of progress of finishing facilities is incredible. Basically nothing is complete. Parks not open, sports pavilion not finished, no shops, no bridge over A27 open and no community center open. Communication about when things will be finished is non existent. Staff are useless when requesting repairs.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is great. Good shops and restaurants. Watersports centre and so close Goodwood. Traffic is a nightmare most days.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not in a way I would have expected. Painful trying to get work done.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would have been good to know how little some staff members care.

A nice place to live

The development is a really nice place to live, spread out housing and no issues with parking, etc. The village is also lovely and a nice place to bring up the kids. There are primary schools in the village but no secondary schools. The property management company has not been an issue thus far.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good local amenities - train station 10 minute walk away, co-op and nursery on the development. Lots of green space as well.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Generally quite good support after moving in, however the developer has acknowledged that the fitted toilet seats have a design fault meaning they are liable to break and palmed us off to the manufacturer. Smart meter was also not set up properly and they have told us to speak to British Gas who have said to speak to the developer, so we have got nowhere with this.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would make sure to speak to neighbours regarding problems that they have had which may require remedial works as these may not be apparent at first.

Development has been very slow. Some residents have lived here over 4 years and still not got their outside path tarmaced. Due to areas being covered by council, developers and property managers .The development has some areas well looked after and others completely left. Front sales office area looks amazing. Residents areas lack proper care. Street lighting is poor in some areas. Reported faults not fixed. Sadly if you asked what I really think the development is a mess. However the residents are amazing and very friendly . Lovely local walks. Community Hub sadly still not open. Pub not built. Bucklers lodge care home is open and perfectly run.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is wonderful. Near M3 and M4 but surrounded by beautiful woodland.Shops all good lovely community.Traffic noise varies. Transport links good. My street has good parking facilities.Bin collection is very reliable .

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish we had done a full proper survey as we have had so many issues. However they are being sorted but takes a lot of time and effort.. I live in a house not a home as always waiting for something to be sorted.

What is the best feature of your home:

Love the balcony of main bedroom . Very energy efficient. Nice and bright rooms plenty of light .
