Really quiet, small development with spectacular views over the open countryside. Easy access to rural walks or walks around the village. Lovely community feel amongst the residents. Almost all are larger size detached houses and only two stories high, so the houses look traditional and not like high residential blocks.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local shop and Post Office in village. Newly renovated community centre with a variety of events and activities. Local pub. Easy access to main road with local/regional transport routes. Good sports club. Community events.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Having someone at home/working from home when buying a new home makes a huge difference to getting snagging sorted.

What is the best feature of your home:

Outstanding views. I will never get tired of the sunset. House is light, spacious, airy, warm. Great finish.

an excellent family home in a lovely location.

The primrose crescent development is a good size and the design of the larfield with the extra family area in the kitchen makes this property an excellent family home. A couple of small design issues which would have enhanced the property would be to make the en-suite bathroom a little wider and the downstairs toilet a little smaller to give a bigger hallway.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A nice typical English village with a good shop, pub and sports facilities. Although rural good transport links aren’t far away. Parking on estate for visitors is limited.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The only real problem we have had and wish we had known was we had to order our own bins!!!

What is the best feature of your home:

The downstairs layout with the large kitchen dining family room and a perfect size lounge.

happy new home

The development offers tastefully designed houses with neutral decor and decent size gardens. We especially like the space our new house offers and the landscaped garden. The kitchen is fitted with high quality appliance and it is a pleasure to cook in.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is a short drive from Aylesbury and Milton Keynes, which makes it desirable. Also, Tring railway station offers a good connection to London. There is a good primary school within a walking distance and the village atmosphere suits us. The development is in a peaceful area, so different from hustle and bustle of London or more noisy villages.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We are happy about the way the sun rotates around the house. It is a very welcome bonus that there is a sunrise seen from the kitchen and sunset seen from the side of the house which we use in the second half of the day.

What is the best feature of your home:

Kitchen is the heart of the home. We fitted a lovely dining table with space for the whole family.

Good homes, friendly staff, someissues but not too bad!

The development is great, small , all the neighbours are very friendly. The houses are nicely designed, and we always had quick replies from customer care team. Landscaping was poor to say the least, our garden has lots of issues from the start which cala doesn’t really want to deal with (grass holey from the time it got laid) flooding patio, some radiators are not really working well especially in ensuit the design is really poor. But we do love our home and it is otherwise really nice.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We love the little quiet town, one shop but that’s enough, and with a car we are able to get around fine. We have some issues with visitor parking being taken up by residents of the social housing houses, and with children throwing things from social housing into our garden, but other than that love the area!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

They didn’t specify we would be next to social housing when we brought it, our neighbours are really bad to the right, with kids constantly throwing food into our garden. Also didn’t specify the garden was on a slope (even tho they say they did they did not.) Causing autumn floods on our patio, cala then said we knew it was on a slope when they absolutely didn’t say this. Attic would not be boarded

What is the best feature of your home:

location in wingrave, good amount of bathrooms , perfect size for two people and a dog. Small but social development

Countryside Beauty with Convenience Closeby

The development is very attractive, interesting aspects and house designs which all compliment each other. Our house is well proportioned and suits our needs very well, storage cupboards are very welcome in nearly all rooms and built in wardrobes. The two bathrooms upstairs are fitted to a very high standard and feel good quality. The kitchen is also a good quality, although we did pay extra for higher end worktops. The building management has had some issue, nobodies fault just supply of building materials, which has hindered progress. The position of the site on a hill gives gorgeous views of the countryside and is close to open fields for stunning walks.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Wingrave is a beautiful village with a good primary school (DD already attends), a shop/post office very well stocked, a pub open part-time and good sports facilities. A great community atmosphere which I am looking forward to being part of. The village is very picturesque with a Recreation ground, bowls club and village green plus a thriving church.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The build has taken so long that our mortgage offer ran out, subsequently new product was a lot more expensive. The sales office were desperate for a mortgage offer to be in place when we had already been checked with their finance guys and all verified. I think this was very unfortunate for us.

What is the best feature of your home:

The stunning fit of the bathrooms, looks very high quality and luxurious. The double walk in shower feels like a treat every time we use it.
