Nestled in the heart of the quiet village of Crowthorne, Buckler’s Park has everything you need - located within walking distance of a new 100 acre country park, a new bar and restaurant, a community garden and community hub. It’s also close by a variety of other vibrant towns in Berkshire such as Bracknell, Wokingham, Reading and Ascot, offering endless options for shopping, dining and nightlife. Plus, with excellent commuter links to both London Paddington and London Waterloo, you can get into the capital city in as little as an hour.

Good design variety and nice interconnect with nature with plenty of part area, trees and wildlife given good consideration. All the facilities you need in properties and really friendly community. Overall very quiet for a large development and looking forward to school, hub, local store and new pub all being completed over the next two years.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely small high street, with all your essentials, good pubs and close to transport links. Development still ongoing but will be finished and all amenities within a couple of years. Lots of bars and restaurants within short distance as well as shops and great outdoor activities.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That’s home facilities which are part of the development have taken longer than expected to complete…all coming but would have been nice sooner.

What is the best feature of your home:

High ceilings and balcony/deck to maximise evening sunshine.

Development disappointing. Residents very friendly.

Development has been very slow. Some residents have lived here over 4 years and still not got their outside path tarmaced. Due to areas being covered by council, developers and property managers .The development has some areas well looked after and others completely left. Front sales office area looks amazing. Residents areas lack proper care. Street lighting is poor in some areas. Reported faults not fixed. Sadly if you asked what I really think the development is a mess. However the residents are amazing and very friendly . Lovely local walks. Community Hub sadly still not open. Pub not built. Bucklers lodge care home is open and perfectly run.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is wonderful. Near M3 and M4 but surrounded by beautiful woodland.Shops all good lovely community.Traffic noise varies. Transport links good. My street has good parking facilities.Bin collection is very reliable .

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish we had done a full proper survey as we have had so many issues. However they are being sorted but takes a lot of time and effort.. I live in a house not a home as always waiting for something to be sorted.

What is the best feature of your home:

Love the balcony of main bedroom . Very energy efficient. Nice and bright rooms plenty of light .

Modern Development

The development is modern and practical. It is easy to get in and out of the estate and there is plenty of room for parking. The estate is surrounded by green space and is close by to shops in Bracknell, Wokingham, and Crowthorne which is convenient. The aftercare support team from Legal & General were helpful after I moved in and were able to help with electrical services, decorative items and fixing small issues. E.g. Cracks.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I live close to the forest and surrounded by towns such as Bracknell, Wokingham and Crowthorne which is convenient for exercise, shopping, entertainment and social purposes. Parking availability is good and no issues with bin collections, anti social behavior and traffic noise.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would have like to known what services were part of the service charge due to owning the leasehold such as window cleaning, gardening etc.

What is the best feature of your home:

Even though it is a coach house, the house feels spacious.
