Living at Crossways Gardens

Jesper (Tenant)

Verified Resident

Crossway Gardens, CB2

Oct 2024

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living at Crossways Gardens is a great experience due to its peaceful, family-friendly environment. The neighborhood is quiet, with clean streets and green spaces (for example the proximity to Grantchester Meadows) that make it perfect for relaxing walks or outdoor time. Despite the calm atmosphere, it's conveniently close to shops, cafes, and public transport.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

A great example of our landlord going above and beyond was when we accidentally locked ourselves out on a Sunday after returning from a trip abroad. We had just boarded the plane to head back to the UK, only to realize that we had forgotten our house keys at my parents place. In a panic, we called our landlord, even though it was late on a weekend. Without hesitation, they jumped into action and arranged for someone to unlock our door just before our ETA.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The storage situation and flexibility in changing the part-furnished layout could've been better communicated, but is compensated through great value renting.

Very good location close to shops and food stores, good parking. The bus to transport to time stops a little early in the evening which can be an issue

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The have responded quickly and promptly and always addressed any issues

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would like to have known more about the area and the transport links to the town centre
