Great Location

Tech West Lofts, W3

Oct 2024

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location, across the road from Acton Park and Acton Central Overground Station. The street is generally quiet, however there is a film studio across the road which is quite bothersome.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven't had to raise too many issues. But when we have the landlord has been generally okay in responding.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I knew it was across the road from a working film studio.

Great place to live

Tech West Lofts, W3

Sept 2024

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good local shops but just one supermarket. Easy walks to overground (18 min) and district line (12 min) and plenty of buses to either Ealing or Shepherd's Bush. Acton park is very close and the area is very quiet.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes - quick responses but contractors don't always turn up to do the work when they say.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The windows don't open fully because of the position of the blinds.

AWOL at One West Point - Rental Only, W3

Sept 2024

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great transport links to the central and elizabeth lines. However, poor choice of cafes and bars, and very little parking availability.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond promptly to any concerns that were raised. Any repairs and maintenance are dealt with in a timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It took a long while before the in-house gym was installed.

Lina House, W3

Sept 2024

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We love being able to walk to Chiswick, and it's great to be so close to the overground and the tube!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Touchstone have been very patient and helpful when dealing with the snagging issues we've had.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When we moved in, we didn't realise there was a pre-payment meter for heating and hot water which is set up with an eco-friendly heat pump energy system - we put £150 on it, and it looks like this will be enough to keep us going for six months. To have such a low bill for heating and hot water is a huge bonus, and we are very grateful for it.

The Rehearsal Rooms, W3

Jul 2024

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good location right next to North Acton station. Not much in the area, Sainsbury's in the building and Dominos, McDonalds nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Poorly. You need to ask multiple times for things to be taken care of.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Bills are quite expensive. You pay the standard water, electricity but also 'community utilities'. And council tax band E
