Modern Well insulated Quiet Flats. Stunning communal spaces,Massive gym with things like a punch bag and stairmaster. They’ve tried to create a community feel and it really works. The regular events creates a friendly atmosphere, We've lived in many different places in Cardiff and never known anyone else in the buildings name. Now we find ourselves chatting away, networking with everyone, we love our neighbours! We've had a local cheesemonger recently for a tasting session

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Center of Cardiff! We don't get any outside noise. Having everything on your door step. With any center theirs always crowds of drunk people but 24hr security/front of house is worth paying extra for. We feel very Safe and secure

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Toilet started to continously flush, I reported it to Aled on reception, Hayden phoned me and came right over. I was concerned I'd have a massive water bill but it was done in less than 25 minutes. Had no other problems.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking at £200 a month is very expensive, It's still cheaper than the other similar sites we viewed.

Overall management of the building is really good and maintained. All staff are helpful and at hand if needed. The design of the building is convenient and there are never really any technical issues. There are 4 lifts of the building which means you are always able to get in the apartment promptly which is a positive.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

All facilities are convenient and well designed, however the area can be quite loud on the lower floors due to the bus station being at the rear end. The gym is outstanding and is suitable for anyone!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Haydn who is one of the maintenance team was extremely helpful during my time there! It’s good to know you can have anything fixed at any time without worry. All issues or maintenance queries were dealt with really quickly which was a relief.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everyone including staff and tenants are all kind and pleasant to be around. Very pleasant experience.

The building is beautiful. I’ve met some really lovely people through the social events here which is so lovely when you’re new to the city. Haydn is the building handyman and is always on hand to assist with anything which has been really helpful. I’ve found the management of the building to be very responsive and fair to tenants.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Excellent location in Cardiff however the noise is very loud from the surrounding area, with that noise I would have hoped to have air conditioning in such a warm building.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Really efficiently and we’re always kept up to date

That there was no air conditioning as the building is very warm

Good design social space is good as I use it every day. The gym is high spec management good and efficient especially Mo who is nice. Also I like the community in Wood Street House as everyone is friendly. I have had no issues so far everything is good.

Close to local amenities transport links are good as train station virtually 1 minute away. Traffic is not bad only only slight issue bars sometimes noisey

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No issues so far but any queries are resolved promptly

Noise issues with bars but that comes with city centre living

Building is designed well, facilities are well kept and security is tight. The front desk is manned 24/7, special shout out to Mo for that! Maintenance team are easily contactable and willing to help out wherever possible, nice to be able to really customise my living space as well.

Perfectly located apartment building, 2 minutes from door to train station. Close to shops, nightclubs and restaurants. A bit noisy during weekends, but to be expected.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yep, lost key and they were more than willing to replace it quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Would’ve been ideal to know exact council tax code/ cost - could’ve been easily found out with some searching however.
