Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I am incredibly happy that I chose to live in Newbury, specifically in a house from the company Grainger. The location is excellent, close to the town centre. The train station, pubs, restaurants, museum, theater, supermarkets, and gyms are all just three minutes away. Across the street is a shopping center with a cinema and a music school. Additionally, a large library and a park are just five minutes away. There is also a bus stop nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team is always ready to assist with any requests, ensuring that any issues are resolved promptly. Furthermore, property management plays an important role in creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere; their attention to detail and commitment to meeting residents’ needs greatly enrich my living experience here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The only small drawback I have noticed for myself is the glossy panels on the kitchen unit. Unfortunately, they require frequent cleaning, as fingerprints and smudges easily show on them. Nevertheless, the kitchen unit itself looks stylish and is very convenient to use.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are plenty of good quality shops, restaurants and bars in the area. Transport links are convenient and close by - Newbury Railway Station is 5 minutes' walk away. The bus station is at the same distance. There are two large multistorey car parks - one is directly opposite the Kennet Center building and the other is between the Railway Station and the Waversyard building.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management of the building responded quickly and with a sense of responsibility to the problems we raised. They always behave in a friendly manner and make an effort to solve problems in the best possible way.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

In principle, before each viewing, you should have prepared questions about your most important requirements for the property you are going to rent. If you don't, you risk that your expectations differ from reality.

Convenient and stylish, with some draw backs

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very good location in terms of vicinity to shops, bus station and the train station. Plenty of restaurants too. The triple glazing means no noise except occasional site traffic to the building works.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Easy to report on the app or via email. Issues get fixed pretty quickly, although no weekend contractors, even if there is no water access at all! This is not Kimberly or Carmen's fault, but a larger issue with Graingers.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No weekend contractors, even if there is a serious issue such as no water access. Water access has failed on four separate occasions, with sometimes no water access at all for over 24 hours.
