The design could be better - why no outside balcony space? Would have been such a small addition with a huge impact on the flats. The bin store being so far down the street is a pain - if you are a single parent then it means either dragging your kids out every time you need to take a bin out, or waiting until you are passing (which during lockdown can mean bins sit in the house for days..!) I would happily live here forever if only there had been even a small balcony. But with no outdoor space it can feel very small and claustrophobic. The finish wasn’t great, lots of snagging issues and a few things could have been done a bit better. The kitchen is good though.

Everything you could need is in portobello. Excellent location, great transport links too.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known the bin store was so far away from the flat. I wouldn’t leave my children to take the bins out as it’s so far, and there’s times bins can sit for days in my hallway. It’s really not ideal.

Great Development, however the outside design in terms of space im front of windows is not the greatest, could have been designed to feel more private. Very small pavement in front of the development means little privacy.

Portobello has a strong community and dont feel like living in a big city. PROXIMITY to Aldi, beach and high street is a great bonus.

Kitchen, brightness, the en suite in the master bedroom.

The design is amazing, very modern and new, facilities are great and design and property management are good. The back garden (shared) is very big and open, there is stairs leading down to Aldi Which is very useful, there is also a car park back and front of the bulding

There is a 5 minute walk to the Beach, great community and lots of local shops along porty

I wish I’d have known there was a building site across the road, which is gone now.

Modern design and close by amenity makes this a very favourable and increasingly popular area to put down roots. Management is efficient and up to date with care taken to preserve the ambience. Design interior is functional and adequately spacious with up to the minute services and heating/cooking/insulation methodology. Feels secure and comfortable with nothing left to chance.

Close to High Street amenity with all retailers providing a valued service and range. Desirable area to live includes sporting and leisure facilities close at hand. A growing neighbourhood of similar, smart modern apartments and townhouses - very friendly and well catered for community feel.

Ongoing building development has been difficult but the area is now looking good

Wonderful new community in a fantastic location.

The development has been created with community in mind including large open grass areas. This enables residents to meet and allows children to have a safe place to play and dogs an area to exercise. The roads running through the developments are short with lots of bends and narrowing ensuring cars need to drive sensibly.

The development has created a wonderful new community which has integrated well in to the local area. We have a wonderful high street on our doorstep with lots of small businesses as well as some well known brands. Transport links are great with a number of buses direct in to town and only a few minutes drive from the A1.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature of our home is the garden and of course the distance to the beach.
