Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area il be honest on first impressions isn't the prettiest however I was pleasantly surprised as after you get to know the area in a short walk you have some amazing parks, loads of shops and restaurants and having a direct link to London in under 13 minutes means you never too far away from the city.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Every time I have had a issue I've raised this on the app they have and the next day normally I am contacted to book a date to get it repaired/actioned.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking is a nightmare, lucky for me I don't drive but when having friends/family visit there is only disabled parking onsite so something to be aware of.

I dont go to the local area to much but the links to London are great. Only issue is parking for when I have my friends round but besides that I've got nothing to moan about.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issue I have had AJ the maintenance man has been able to sort or fix, hes great, everyone's great!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Honestly nothing, I looked everywhere for a home before FOLK and no-one would take me due to the type of employment I had and how my referencing would work, but FOLK & Daniel did. They stopped me from being homeless!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is a bit of a hit and miss, its great for commuting and basic shops that are around however il be honest. Harrow isn't the most "scenic" which is shown by the buildings around the Palm House. The FOLK building is lovely but everything else around is looks rough.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had a issue with my hob which was fixed in 20 minutes ! besides that only other issue is the lifts that have been out of order for a while but I think this is a insurance job from my understanding.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The Local area isnt great, I mean its safe enough to walk around and has all that's needed but looks wise it looks awful. Lucky the train station is next door otherwise the location wouldn't of been for me.

Parking is hard but I dont have a car so this doesn't effect me, I just know some other residents have complained about this

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Had no maintenance issues so far but when I've had issues with some deliveries the team onsite were really helpful and located my parcel.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is no-air con in the rooms, In the summer the rooms do get really really hot and the windows only open a small amount which lets in limited air.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I think for me the area (and the commute) has been the primary negative among a mostly positive living experience. The building is located close to the road and the station, which is both a positive and a negative. The walk to the station is really short, but that also means the traffic noise is quite high, especially for noise sensitive people.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I've only been here a month, and while in the beginning I was slightly disappointed when I moved in and there were a few issues with my room, but over the next few weeks my experience has been quite positive. Daniel has been very understanding and proactive in trying to get things sorted for me to ensure I have a great living experience. Having been previously with really poor landlords who didn't do maintenance and essential repairs for months, living here has been a refreshing change as when issues are raised, there is always effort made to resolve them as soon as possible, even if it sometimes might take a bit of time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I think the only thing for me is the noise. But it also has to do with my room facing a bunch of warehouses (and the road proximity) which can sometimes get really noisy early morning. But in the winter it should be less bothersome when the windows are closed. And again, I'm sensitive to noise, so I don't think this would bother others much who aren't. And the other thing that I've mentioned before, it may be important for some people to know that the window only opens slightly due to some safety related regulations.
