The properties often have very cheap built in appliances that easily fail. Getting a response from the property manager or anyone Is like finding a needle in a haystack. Issues with rodents in the building. Took months for anyone to have a look, by then the rodents chew through your own appliances and food. Flats are mouldy, this is a massive health risk. The repairs company didn’t close my door after an authorised visit for them to use the master key for a PAT test. This lead to me coming home at night with my door open. Money and my personal stuff we’re stolen. They refused to reimburse and denied all allegations. I withheld the amount it was from my rent as they chose to ignore me. Now they’re supplying negative landlord references to get back at me. WORST company to rent from. stay away.

Fairly new refurbishment of an old church, only a couple of years old. Clean and tidy when moving in, with decent appliance brands but the basic models of those brands. The whole apartment building is owned by one company who rent all of the apartments. They can be hit and miss on the contact and communication front. However, no major issues we haven’t been able to resolve. Rented as unfurnished but they can provide a furniture package for you.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Like - central, dislike - can be too dark on nearby streets at times

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How often people leave the front building door & gate open!
