overall great place to stay, value for money, as long as you don’t mind a broken lift and some stairs !

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

gravity co royal heights is located next to a beautiful canal and situated very near to the town centre. it is a 15 minute walk from tesco extra, and only a 7 minute walk from my favourite coffee shop ! i am on the side facing the main road, so it does get loud during the day, but usually quietens down during the night.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

yes, they have always been very timely in their responses.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

not really, gravity has a virtual tour on their website and also you can schedule bookings so i was able to have a good idea of what i was moving into.

Good for living, even better for location

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location, peaceful area, lots of restaurants, bars, shops and even gyms nearby. However, can get noisy if living facing the street as is a busy street. But windows are thick and block out the sound.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Had issues with heating and cold water which are being addressed, but with a big delay.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known there’s no clothes dryer at the property. It Isn’t noisy within the flat, outside noise doesn’t enter the flat, noise is isolated.

Hi K! Thanks for leaving us your feedback! It's good to see that you are enjoying your apartment at our Royal Heights property in Reading. As a brand new building, there are unfortunately some issues that arise only when tenants move in and the property is operating at full capacity as it should be. We're sorry that your apartment has experienced issues with heating and water. We know these have now been resolved, but took a little longer than planned as specialist third party contractors were needed to help resolve the issue. If you have any further problems with this, please let us know and we'll work to resolve the issue as quickly as we can! Thanks

Good looking affordable property at the centre of Reading which however needs to improve service quality

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Being in a walking distance to the city centre is good and makes up the inconvenience of not having nearby shops or stores. Easy to get to the tranaport hub as well.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Response itself was quick, but outcome/resolution is slow with shortage of in-house resource I guess

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

General instruction of how to use the building property and equipments inside the flat. Written manual is not enough.

H C Cha Thanks for your feedback! As a brand new development, we have had some teething problems around the property, but are happy to report that most of these have now been resolved. We unfortunately are not able to use the space behind the building for cars, however we do let our tenants know about local parking permits that can be applied for. On the back of your apartment door is a QR code that lists all the important information about your apartment - including instruction manuals for all appliances. If you are unable to find something in particular, please let our Operations team know so that we can help you find it or add it if it has been accidentally missed off. Please do let us know if we can help in any other way to improve your experience with us! Thanks again for your review.
