The design of the property is really nice and modern. The quality and style of appliances that have been fitted are very nice. The property management team were very extremely helpful from the start. Any questions I had about the whole process were dealt with quickly

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Only complaint would be the proximity to the school. Shops and restaurants are on a really good location near by

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How much light the school gives off in the night and also the amount of noise.produced during the day

The value and design are what I am most.happy with along with the local community

Customer Care Fantastic - Poor quality build

Lovell’s customer service is second to none and the site manger and customer service team are willing to help where they can. However, the quality of the building at our development let it down massively. There was several minor design flaws that really impact the overall feel of the home for example cheap vents on windows, poor masking that doesn’t look tidy, poor sound proofing for plumbing etc you can hear everything when running hot water or flushing the toilet .I was always so excited for the first reveal when moving into my first home but I came into saw dust still being visible in the corner of rooms. Paint marks on the floor, cleaning product being left on the cupboards, plastic wrap that wasn’t fully removed and in my ensuite just a square that wasn’t painted on the wall and light fittings with very visible chips in the plastic . Our cloakroom bathroom is built to constantly hit into our kitchen door so we have to paint over it all the time . On the drawings it looked like we had a kitchen diner but in reality it’s a really tight squeeze to fit a dining table nicely as the toilet takes up too much room. Outdoors our gate doors are darker than our fences which makes it feel cheap, we also have drains on our front walkway and the paving that was placed is two tone as apparently it was a bad batch. Overall in this regard I feel like Lovell went cheap with the quality of contractors etc. I’ve seen the shared ownership homes nearby that Lovell built so I know they have it in them to build something of quality but just disappointed that we haven’t experienced this.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We are close to all local shops and have a Sainsbury's, barbers, hair salon, pets groomers, pharmacy, mini Spa and a takeaway and restaurant aswell as a coffee shop. We currently have a primary, secondary and nursery school with more to be built in phase 2 and a hope of a GPs Surgery. It’s a fantastic location in that regard with Asda , boots, Superdrug and the range only five mins drive away. My street is on a fairly busy road but not had any real problems.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If something doesn’t look right when you first see it get it resolved as soon as possible. Also do your research on who they hire to build your home before hand if they aren’t fantastic contractors don’t do it. I watched someone compact our lawn when it had to be done a second time using a plank.

What is the best feature of your home:

Hive system came as standard and double oven. The kitchen options were good.

Nice area, doesn't feel like we're on top of each other. Big garden, but not enough paved area. I'm in a semi detached and can't hear my neighbors. Spacious for a 2 bed, with lots of storage. Fitted kitchen is a good design, with various custom features available.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Perfect location - 7 mins to a train station, supermarkets are closer. The area itself has a local Sainsburys, plenty takeaways deliver, schools etc. The Priors Hall management regularly host free events.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

New house movement causes cracks on the walls. Check the garden isn't on a slope.

What is the best feature of your home:

The custom features I could have. Eg, Internet port, dimmer switches, flooring, sockets...
