This development is very well located. Houses are quite spacious and have a good ventilation all around.

This development is very well located. Houses are quite spacious and have a good ventilation all around. Motorways, good schools , Local grocery stores, and Gym facilities are literally within five minutes distance. Town center is 15 minute drive. Also it’s well-connected through buses to other parts of Reading.

The development itself is nice clean and spacious. Lots of greenery around. Roads are wide. There is a local play area as well which is kept clean most of the time. Bus stop is literally walking distance from almost all the houses. There is a local grocery store within the development which helps a lot

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A very well located area in Reading. There are a lot of local schools here. Gym facilities are literally walking distance. Very well-connected with the buses. Motorway in town center is literally 10 to 15 minutes away. One thing we noticed is that catchment areas of primary schools are very small so sometime you might find it difficult to get into your own preferred school.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We found them little bit slow in terms of answering the questions. However they were very helpful indeed

Good place to live with accessible transport links

This estate has very easy access to a well supplied co-op with Woodley centre just a 2 minute drive down the road. Easy access to woodland behind the estate which leads through to south lake makes it an excellent place for those with dogs. There is a good bus route in to Reading with the final stop directly outside the train station. Earley train station is approximately a 15minute walk giving you access to the Waterloo line. The management company haven’t been great but there seems to have been improvements of late and the estate is generally well kept.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is well located with good transport links taking you in to Reading (bus approximately 20mins). Woodley itself has a nice range of restaurants and shops including Waitrose, Iceland and Boots. Easy access to the M4 for those working in surrounding areas or wanting to access London.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Size of the garden. This is very small

What is the best feature of your home:

All Ensuites are a very good size and the spec of the features are very good throughout.

Great place to live with excellent transport links

We have been living here for almost 5 years. Cala build quality and finishes are premium compared to most others. Most Houses designed have sun rooms In the living kitchen area, Which is great and means a lot of light All year round. Storage is ok but more would have been appreciated. The management company are probably the worst you’ll encounter, overspends on the budget are very common and service is not as forthcoming as it should be. Although communal area lawns are mowed, weeds are overgrown and everywhere, they are only ever trimmed and not properly removed so each spring/summer totally overgrown again.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great development. There is a coop 1 min walk away, bus stop 2 mins away which gets you to Reading station in under 15mins. Lots of open green spaces and a small playground on the development itself. Woodley town center is around a 20min walk or 5min drive away with plenty of shops and amenities.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Management company does not take of their responsibilities as you would expect and budget overspends are common which means we always had to pay more each year to compensate

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

More storage, a garage and better to have houses with 2 floor design than 3. Unfortunately we didn’t have a choice.

Overall good design but limited front and rear gardens. Properties are in close proximity to each other unlike the “old builds”. Small boxed bedrooms, limited storage areas. Property managed by multiple companies without any clear responsibilities/boundaries.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ideal location with local access to busses/trains. Local CO-OP store on site.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The low mains water pressure frequently. There is a playground area exclusively for the development but people from outside the areas have invaded it.

What is the best feature of your home:

The open plan kitchen/living space is appealing especially with all integrated appliances.
