Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my local area offers a mix of positives and negatives. On the good side, there’s a decent range of local shops, restaurants, and bars, though the variety could be better. Open spaces are well-maintained, offering spots for relaxation. Public transport is convenient, with buses and trains running frequently, but occasional delays can be frustrating. On the downside, parking is limited on my street, and traffic noise can be a problem during peak hours. Bin collections are not frequent enough, and the area isn't extremely safe, with occasional incidents of anti-social behavior, which can be unsettling. Overall, it's a mixed experience.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the house wouldn't actually be delivered on time as promised but 6 months later, with no repercussions for the builder.

What is the best feature of your home:

The living room is wide and the balcony is bigger than the average in the area.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area (Stratford) is very busy and well-located which has a number of advantages but also a few disadvantages. The large Westfield shopping centre is minutes away and transport connections are very good. One of the disadvantages is that the immediate vicinity can be very busy with traffic and there is a relatively high level of crime. There have been bicycles stolen from the locked area inside the car park and the new management company (see below) is taking further steps to protect residents and property. The noise from outside can also be obtrusive and adds to the internal noise issues noted below. Bin collections etc are working well now.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The relatively high crime rate. The poor former management company. And that noise reduction is not as good as it could be due to both design and insulation.

What is the best feature of your home:

The size of the rooms is good compared to some developments and the ceilings are a a bit higher than some others.

Good number of local restaurants and very convenient and plentiful transport links and shops. Parks close by with a good amount of open space and safety measures. Parking availability is a nightmare. There have been some reports of stolen bikes at the development and stolen mobile phones along the street on which the development is.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking issues in the local area - there was only an option to buy a space at circa £20k which felt expensive (particularly when added on to the property price) and I didn't have a need for one at the time of purchase to warrant this, but it would have been helpful to know the issues with finding a space in the local area if we didn't purchase one.

What is the best feature of your home:

Light and airy lounge, kitchen and dining area and bedroom due to near wall height windows.

We are close to shops, GP, dentist, gym it’s close to a lot. There is loud noise from the trains which are very frequent

The trains that run past are very loud and quite frequent
