Almost five years in and still a great place to live

This building is standing the test of time very well. There are mostly kind and helpful neighbours, it's a very safe place both practically as well as perceived, and regular apartment and building inspections plus their maintenance keep it all at a good standard. For a while the bin collections seemed to be somewhat random but of late it's been back to normal. Personally I also find the property management doing a very good job and I think this also contributes much to the overall living experience.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Having lived here for over 4 years it has been a great experience, and a joy to see the neighbourhood bounce back from the pandemic and further develop into a very pleasant area. Kind people overall, more and varied shops, there's the bi-weekly farmer's market and the area is increasingly offering more facilities and leisure opportunities for parents and their kids. Connectivity with the city and airports was already great, but recently it got even better with the new bus connection (bus 241) added linking Royal Wharf directly to Stratford and Custom House, thus connecting this area with the Elizabeth Line meaning direct access to Heathrow in about 45 minutes! his building itself is standing the test of time very well, kind neighbours, it's very safe both practically and perceived, and regular inspections and maintenance keep it at a good standard. For a while the bin collections seemed to be somewhat random but it's all good now.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

In this particular case there have not been problems or issues, but whenever there have been questions raised generally the management people are all very helpful and patient regardless of whom one deals with in their "chain of command" so to speak.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Public parking especially weekends it seems can sometimes be a bit of a thing, but on the other hand I believe this does prevent the area from being flooded by too much outside traffic. This in turn would be more of a benefit than a disadvantage to the cosy, or if you will town-ish character of Royal Wharf, which is part of its charm.

Facilities are great, especially the gym and pool. I love the owners and people at Triple 222 coffee shop, and having Sainsburys here is great (wish we had a pret a manger though!) Area is lovely, especially by the Waterfront.

Lots of amenities, security here helps make things feel safer. I have received a parking ticket for parking in my own bay :S

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quick and communicative - we've had issues with dishwashers etc and it's been sorted quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That covid wouldn't hinder our usage of almost all facilities.

It has a lovely design, I feel very safe, especially after living centrally. I just wish there was a better supermarket / more shop options available. A “refill” shop would be good and more leisure facilities. The staff on the development are generally friendly and helpful. The bin rooms are inconveniently placed.

Generally really enjoy the development, just wish there was better supermarket options. Dlr is reliable but ideally would run later/ more frequently.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Mostly fine but sometimes slow or at inconvenient times for people who work full time (who can afford to live here part time?!)

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Frequency of trains, booking system for gym & lack of shops. Also the fact our building’s garden is actually inaccessible - this was a bit misleading actually.

Ideas are great, I know everyone’s doing their best but it could be faster. Would of liked the clipper to start sooner. I love the design of the buildings, and I love that the parks nearby and we have a good choice of coffee shops. Also the gym is included in our rent

I love the area and the fact it has the necessary shops. Could have more retail shops in the area. Looking forward to what’s coming soon

I’m happy with everything. Nothing has disappointed

Install a garbage shoot on each floor. Can be an issue sometimes dragging the bin down as it leeks on the carpet

Had a problem with our washing machine and dishwasher and it was sorted quickly. The building could be cleaner- often have dirty communal carpets/ chipped paint. No issues with the management. Have enjoyed living here for the past year. The flat is a nice, spacious design with good storage.

Could do with more shops and restaurants however this could be because of covid stopping plans. Love the fact we have two parking spaces included. Good concierge facility.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responded quickly when we had issues with our dishwasher/ washing machine.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We parked in the middle of our two parking spaces to allow to get children out of the car and were issued a fine!
