Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area can't be faulted for transport links - It is very well connected to central London and further afield. There are a good range of smaller supermarkets to suit all budgets, although larger supermarkets are a bus ride or car journey away. There's a great selection of mostly independently run restaurants & cafe's, including a few bars & pubs. On the whole, the area is desirable - the only downside I would say are the number of betting shops which bring the area down a bit.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had an issue with my windows being chipped and I was contacted promptly with details of the insurance options available to me which was very helpful
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I was more aware of the concentration of betting shops in the immediate area, however the police and council have been proactive in dealing with/looking into it. Potential buyers/renters should also pay attention to the precise location of their flat - for example, is it overlooking the loading areas for supermarket delivery lorries or any other potential noise nuisance.

A modern apartment in a secluded, but very convenient development.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We have all sorts of shops in the area, including M&S and Starbucks, and the development is located next to Streatham Hill station, where trains run every 15 minutes on the route to Victoria, which takes 20 minutes. There are a myriad buses past the door to Brixton, Clapham Common, Herne Hill etc one way and Morden, Tooting and Streatham station the other.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The presence of noise generated from the side road, but fortunately the police appear to be dealing with it now.
Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:
There should be more communal space including perhaps a lounge and swimming pool, and the gym is too small for more than three people.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Streatham Hill is a diverse and vibrant area with many great independent shops and bars, as well as larger chains, giving great choice and good options for retail and dining/drinks. Although no direct access to the Underground, the train and bus links mean you can be on the Northern (Balham) or Victoria (Brixton) lines in 10-15 minutes. Streatham Hill station has services direct to Victoria (20mins) or London Bridge (40mins) stations making it a very well connected area. There is good access to green spaces with the expansive Tooting Common under 5 minutes walk away.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The unit cost of the Central Heat supply and the the way in which it was administered.
Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:
More democratic or transparent process for administering/selecting the Central Heat Plant provider.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I love the location of our building. It’s minutes from the train station, right on a bus route and surround by great local restaurants and coffee shops.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes they are quick to respond though there are a lot of issues with the hot water going off which seems to take hours to resolve.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The gym wasn’t complete when we moved in and it was quite disappointing how small and how little equipment is available.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I've lived in Streatham Hill for 8 years. The community has changed a lot and continues to do so - all in a positive way. The location and transport links are excellent - which is something most people don't realise. Needs a good cinema though. And a nice pub.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I knew that streatham High Road (directly outside my window) is the training route for all ambulance and police drivers. Sirens are constant through the night
Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:
Probably the heat. I'd like the flat to be a little bigger, but it is exactly what I paid for. The heat is an extra that I'd rather not have.
