Still pleased with purchase. Some minor ongoing issues with property management.

No change to this since last review but some issues around property management. Crabtree have been sufficient overall but are very poor at communicating and with getting on with some of the pressing issues. We desperately need bollards around the site to stop people parking and driving on planted areas.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

As before, the location is excellent. 60 seconds from Feltham station (if that). All the shops you need on your doorstep. There is some sporadic anti social behaviour in the area but this has been mitigated recently with CCTV installation. Parking is an issue in the area and on the development but not sure why people moan when they buy a flat with no space and then complain about nowhere to park.....

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Most issues dealt with but the issue is that you have to constantly remind them.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It was not made clear that the site would have a public right of way through it to the park. I would say it was actively obscured by Fairview that this would be the case and was somewhat dishonest. It has been the cause of some anti social behaviour.

The facilities are okay but there is a design flaw in the bathroom. The shower screen clashes with the sink.

The facilities are okay but there is a design flaw in the bathroom. The shower screen clashes with the sink. There were scratches on the window screens of both bedroom and drawing room. I raised a complaint about three months ago but they have not yet been replaced. The water started leaking from the toilet seat. This complaint has been resolved.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The range and quality of shops - absolutely fabulous- At a stone's throw away is Asda and Aldi. The convenience and availability of transport link is great. Living here is good as I have not experienced any antisocial behaviour till date and the traffic noise is minimal.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I raised three issues 1. The toilet seat was leaking, which was repaired. 2. The window glass is faulty and need to be replaced. This issue was raised about three months ago. This has not been replaced. I am very disappointed with this.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing much in particular

Great location, security cameras would have been great

I love the finish of the flat, the high ceilings and windows and large balcony Lack of underfloor heating seems a miss although the flat is very well insulated so barely use the heating. Having said that more modern radiators would have been preferred, these are far too large and old fashioned

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Love the building, think the finish is good however management can be slow to resolve certain issues e.g. the balcony floors cannot be cleaned Great location although security cameras would have been nice

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Most were fixed very quickly although there’s an ongoing problem with balcony flooring and scratched glass in windows

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish the fees were clearer (over the first year)

On the whole the development is of a good quality but there are some things where it’s evident costs have been cut. For example only partially tiling the bathroom when almost everybody will want to use the bath doubly as a stand up shower. Pretty much everyone at the development has had to take it upon themselves to complete the tiling job and fit a screen. I really like my block as it overlooks the river and I think it’s in a superior position to the other two blocks. It’s also smaller and quieter. I think the development could have benefitted from being gated like some other Fairview developments but there hasn’t been any security issues yet that I’m aware of.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

On the whole very content with the service from the sales team and with the flat. Anna, Chris and Hoss in particular were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Whilst it hasn’t been perfect and there have been some mistakes and errors Fairview has on the whole attempted to rectify these quickly. The flat itself I’m really pleased with and is much bigger than similar priced flats I looked at. The area is good and is up and coming with a lot of investment evident. Literally 60 seconds to the train station! Parking is limited but doesn’t affect me as I don’t drive.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Soundproofing between floors isn’t great.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

Gated and/or double security door entry. Many other Fairview developments have two doors, one to gain entry to building and another to gain entry to flat front doors. We don’t have this.

The housing is amazing although there is a lot of revocations going on but I don’t mind the placement of everything is beautiful I also enjoy the fact that it’s connected to the park I get to go for a stroll all around my area and just go home quickly.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I really love the house the rooms are a perfect size for my family of for everything fits together and it looks amazing the rooms may be simple but I think that’s what makes it unique

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have responded quickly as my neighbours have told me but for me personally I haven’t had anything to complain about

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known about the dishwasher because there is a switch for it but no dishwasher
